I rented one in northern Thailand about 10 years ago to explore the mountain roads around Chiangmai . What an absolute blast it was , an absolute weapon in the hills. To give you some context , my ride back home at the time was an R1 . I had more smiles in a week on the ER than in a year on the R1. I will be in Thailand again next month and plan to buy one to keep at my in law's house.

I have the 2011 model now as my first bike. I can definitely recommend the er6n. The perfect starter

Very interesting tutorial 👌 Thanks for sharing. What I am most impressed by is your sound quality. How have managed to eliminate the wind noise, please? I can't hear my exhaust at all when playing back the footage, just wind . Any help would be appreciated. Thanks John 🏍🙂

Thank you man! And yes I use a purple panda mic for my go pro and the speaker is inside my helmet so it’s crisp audio 👍🏻

Tbh I’m not 100% I brought that exhaust with the bike, pretty sure it’s lex tec but could be wrong, nice sounding exhaust tho 🔥

How does it handle on long rides?

i have the same vibration noise and i noticed it was my key i know use the bike with nothing attached to the key and the sounds gone. it was those metal o rings that rattle with the bike

I'd assume not, get some pictures up and look for an encoder ring on the inside of the brake discs. They're usually a smaller radius, installed concentrically. There's one on each wheel. That's how it measures wheel speed. If there isn't one, there's no ABS.

Are these bikes small? Or would it fit a ”larger” person?
