Thank you so much for posting. Although I just had my 4th in a hospital, I absolutely utilized your principles of not pushing, letting your body do everything itself . My little guy shot out so so fast - no pushing , no tears, no bleeding , no IV no Meds . It was insane and amazing.

This was my labor with my second!! Less than an hour and s half from start to finish when they broke my water and it was so fast i couldn't believe it! And the recovery was so quick too. I've never had a medicated labor and the thought of an epidural terrifies me 😅😂

Can you explain the "not pushing"? I'm honestly confused about why you wouldn't want to push and how it's safe to stop yourself from pushing...no hate, just honestly curious

@@giadaferrari8543 I think the main thing is pushing causes tears and overall discomfort the most, the body itself will birth without the extra pressure. Pushing causes that extra pressure and that’s often how mamas end up with longer recovery and other consequences. Sure there is still some small pushing that’s required once the baby is already on its way out but many start pushing too early to force the birth faster

@@giadaferrari8543 pushing is an intervention, the uterine fundus should be allowed to thicken and eject baby. nothing logical or safe about adding force without necessity.

My mom passed when I was 15. I, too, took to KZread to prep for pregnancy, labor/birth, parenting. Sarah was one of a few Christian mothers who inspired me and helped me be as prepared as I could be. I planned a home water birth after seeing Sarah's. Labored perfectly for 9-10 hours at home to completion only to find out my baby was breech and I needed an emergency cesarean. Praying for more babies and a home water birth next time.

I just had my second baby, first homebirth and I watched your births a few times in preparation. By the grace of our Father I had a nearly painless delivery, my contractions were so mild I didn’t even call the midwife in time because I was sure I had a long way to go. My husband delivered our second boy with my almost 3 yo son watching the whole thing. He was so excited and such a good little support person💕 praise Yahuah for the beauty of all our births.

I found myself praying “thank you lord” when you had the baby in your hands. I had tears in my eyes and my stomach was a bit broken from all the feels, love and emotions I got by witnessing this beautiful miracle. Thank you for sharing your story, you have always been a role model for me, I watched you from your first makeup videos as a young teen and when you transitioned into motherhood I was introduced to it as a teen, which has been a big blessing to my life because ever since then I grew up meditating what it means to be a mother, have a family and a home. And I don’t know how many young teens have this information close, so I feel blessed to be in touch with what motherhood one day will be since a very young age. I’m praying for the day I’ll get to live this as well and I’m sure I’ll go back to all your videos. So much love to your family ❤

Sarah, the Lord absolutely used you posting this as confirmation for me today. I don't have instagram or social media so I can only see shorts periods of what you post on IG. But my husband and I had 3 kiddos in 4 years, and I wanted to wait for a fourth. I still want many children. But I felt my body needed the break and I just couldn't manage what I already had very well. I still watch all your KZread videos because I've come to realize, you're my role model. I haven't ever really had one. And God has used you so mightily in my life, sister in our Lord Jesus Christ. Anyway, it's been a year since I had my third kiddo, and over the last week God has been working in my heart to not be afraid (like you mentioned in your video). We are managing our lives much better with 3 and children are such a blessing. My husband and I are ready to step by faith into having a fourth baby, and your video being uploaded today was unbelievable confirmation and assurance from God that we are on the right track. Lord willing, He will grant us a precious fourth baby! I pray one day the Lord will also grant me to meet you, so I could, with your permission of course, just give you a hug. I'm so incredibly grateful for you. Thank you Sarah.

Sitting here tearing up with my 2 month old. Sarah, I’ve been through the last three pregnancies with you with my own babies. Elizabeth, Molly, and Edmund were my Mara, Josie, and Phoebe give or take a couple months. I’ve been following you since your makeup days and have been in awe of your love and faith in the Lord. It was so encouraging watching your births each time. I had mine in a hospital, but you encouraged me to go as med free as possible which I was able to do with all 3. I was so excited to hear of your pregnancy with Edmund but was a little sad for my own selfish reasons that I wouldn’t get to see his birth this time. Thank you so much for posting this. You are an absolute inspiration, joy and testament to the goodness of the Lord! It’s a blessing to “know” you.

cried like a baby watching you hold your baby boy! i dont have social media so I was so so pleasantly surprised to see a video here from you! First found you with a minimalizing video as God was teaching me as a wife and mother of 5 to manage my home. Became a subscriber and really have been blessed by all your viedos. I also dont go on youtube much so you are really the only youtuber i watched. My 3 girls and i still watch your videos! And have been inspired and learned so much! Thank you so much for sharing! I too have been inspired and blessed by your birth videos and had the joy of natural birthing my first son (4th child) in the hospital followed by my 2nd son born in a tub at a birthing center. God is so good to let us experience such blessing here on earth with His favor upon us:) God bless your family Sarah. I count you a friend and blessed God that He has blessed you so much during the time i hadnt heard of you. Denise Greene

You don't understand how much you inspire me. In a world full of fear and contempt around birth and motherhood, it fills me with so much hope and joy to see you guiding your children with faith and confidence into and through it.

As I'm delivering my third baby next month, I was planning on rewatching that vlog to go into it with the same confidence as I did last time. And 'lo and behold, here is your birth vlog of your 5th! Right on time. :) Congratulations and God bless.
