I think it's crazy they even printed most of these cards, groovy cat plus free spirit is like a 3 mana Malfurion hero card, and that was played for a really long time at 7. I thought we figured out that infinite hero power value was busted when frozen throne came out

And also when witchwood came out lol. This is a little bit better since they are like you have to find them where as Baku and genn were start of game but ya advancing hero power is always a risky move lol

Thanks for spotlighting this, Regis. Druid is my favorite class and I've just come back to HS after a break of several years. Glad to see it got a fun archetype to play around with!

I like how Regis says more "dude" with this deck than with the literal "dude" paladin

rotations and expansions really do change the entire way I see this game. How did druid go from the class I would never want to play to now the one I want to try out the most!

Druid was consistently one of the best classes, always either some token aggro BS or stupidly big ramp like Guff. I never touch rogue, warrior, or shaman.

Calling it that Hero Power Druid is strong. Deck has face damage and Armor gain to Survive.

hard to stay alive long enough for it to ramp up to something significant though. It'll do well against a control deck.

If it sometimes takes 10 turns to make your hero power into a ten HP swing (5/5) then it's too slow imo. It's like watching two people smacking each other with pool noodles until after ten minutes they're finally using real weapons. Thats not great.

@@Byssbod it's not like you're trying to end shit with hero power on turn 5. Just play control and then on turn like 8 start getting good swings and armor for cheap

Great showcase regis!, Love the greedy deck version of this, definitely gonna try it out since I don't care much for competitive use lol Also that freebird rogue opponent was also bringing an awesomely fun looking deck

Man, I'm a druid main and this seems so, so fun. Playing it first second in the expansion and fuck it to my win rate if it turns out to be bad. But I'l make it as a midrange deck, I want to win at least a couple of games.

Every time you say don't build it, it just makes me want to build it more xD

Saw the title thought this would be a warrior deck. I mean it is, just better Warrior lol. The best way to play warloc- i mean warrior is to destroy the enemy's deck these days

While the 1/1 extra hero power on a lategame card can feel bad, its the wrong way to look at it in my opinion. One gotta look at it trough the total upgraded hero power that gets ridicilous.

It's a fun deck because when you deal 8 damage to an enemy for 2 mana, while gaining a lot of armor, he has a lot of fun

if your hero power gives you 11 armour you shouldn't die at all

Freebird seems like a very scuffed attempt at replicating Shadowverse's rhinoceroach. The og roach was a 2 mana 1/1 charge that gained +1 atk per use and then they made a 1 mana version that gained charge when 5/1 or higher.

Whoa Druid just Warrior now. We can delete Warrior from the game now. Why bother with Warrior that gain 2 armor when you can gain 11 armor with druid. Very Balance Blizzard.
