It's like witnessing someone's most intimate and private moment; the veil has been lifted, and you question whether or not that beauty is beholden to your eyes and ears. I'm being incredibly blunt, what you felt isn't silly at all, and I think it's that very reason why this is so captivating. The moment where she belts out "I swore to protect them to the end" and the bellowing that follows always feels like she's "gone", like she's detached from everything, and everything after that is just something so sincere, like we weren't supposed to see that, we weren't supposed to be there. It is honestly my favorite performance, period. Hell, she's my favorite singer, and as someone who has followed her career for years and watched her grow and mature her craft, this was that swansong that put me over the edge. She's one of a kind, there is no one else like her, no substitutes.
