Blended cottage cheese hack:
When you blend your cottage cheese and use it for sauces don’t add it to the pan directly or wait until your pasta has slightly cooled down otherwise the cheese will curdle and you won’t get the smooth creamy texture that I showed in my video.
Smoked salmon wraps
-capers
-red onion
-dill
-lemon juice
-cream cheese
-blended cottage cheese
-smoked salmon
-low carb wrap
-avocado
-hot oil
-everything bagel seasoning
Lemon Adobo Chicken
Ingredients:
-2lbs chicken thighs
-1/4 teaspoon of Salt (or more to
Taste)
-1 Tablespoon lemon Pepper
-2 Tablespoons Adobo
-1 Tablespoon Paprika
-1 Tablespoons Oregano
-2 Lemons juiced
-2 Tablespoons Worchester sauce
Instructions: Preheat the oven at 400°F . Marinate chicken thighs for at least 30 minutes. Place chicken on a baking sheet and Pat the skin dry lightly with a paper towel then bake at 400°F for 35 minutes.
Lime Garlic Steak
Ingredients
-4lbs of flank
-1/4 cup lime juice - about 8 limes
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1/4 cup olive oil
-2 heads of garlic minced
Instructions: Marinated for at least 30 minutes. Cook on medium high for 4 minutes on each side.
Green salad
-romaine lettuce
-cucumber
-green onions
-dill
-broccoli sprouts
-Kalamata olives
-feta cheese
-crispy onions (optional)
Italian vinaigrette
-1 cup sweet white wine vinegar
-1 Tablespoon of water
-1 1/2 cup evoo
-2 teaspoons Italian herbs
-1/2 Tablespoon Oregano
-1 Garlic clove minced
-1/4 cup grated Parmesan
-1/2 teaspoon of salt or to taste
-1/8 teaspoon red chili flakes
Instructions: you can blend it or just shake it before you use it, either way taste great! Also the sweet white wine vinegar is essential otherwise you will need at some sort of sweetener.
Cornflake crispy chicken
Ingredients:
For the cornflake mixture:
* 6 cups cornflakes
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* For the chicken:
* 2lbs chicken cutlets
* 2 large eggs
* 2 tablespoons of milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Pulse cornflakes in a food processor until crumb-like.
3. Combine cornflake crumbs, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
4. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
5. Line a baking sheet with a wire rack, then spray with nonstick cooking spray.
6. Dip chicken thighs in the egg mixture and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
7. Transfer coated chicken thighs to the wire rack.
8. Spray the tops of the chicken thighs with avocado spray.
9. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.

    Ladies keep in mind that while on your cycle you do need to be eating differently 🩸👏🏽!! We do need to eat carbs and soups and indulge in our “cravings” because your body is going through a lot. There is a saying that being in your period is like being sick, so you need to nourish your body and just take it easy ❤

    Everything looks great Liz. I must say that meal prep was the BEST thing I've done for myself yet. LOL I have cooked meats, veggies, pie filling made from scratch with apples I picked at the orchard, meals fully prepared and others cooked and prepped for big meals in the freezer. I have pumpkin soup and beef bone broth I stored in mason jars in the fridge for months, and is still super fresh when I open it to use. I just look UP and THANK THE MOST HIGH GOD for giving us this wisdom. Life gets busy and this is the best way to maintain your good eating habits. I love how you have it in the fridge for the week. I tried that but failed due to me being such a picky eater whose taste buds change. (Food went bad) LOL Smh Keeping it in the freezer until the night before or a few hours before I'm ready to eat has helped tremendously. I really LOVE how you did this. I'm inspired to give it another try because it's so convenient, reducing my cooking and cleaning time. THANKS FOR SHARING DOLL! Stay Safe!

    All of the recipes looked good. I particularly like the Lemon Adobo chicken recipe. And the idea of using blended cottage cheese (and adding ranch seasoning)is really good. Especially since I've been trying to get more protein despite the fact that I really don't crave meat for every meal. So I appreciate the meal inspiration.

    Loved this. With intermittent fasting I noticed some hair loss so had to stop, I wasn’t taking any vitamins, so that’s a great tip, Maybe I’ll try again.

    Really enjoyed this video. I'm trying to do IF but I have lots of work meetings at different times of day, so it's been difficult to be consistent with my meal times. But I really like the "strictness" (is that the word?) of IF so I'm forced to stick to the clock. I'll keep trying!

    I fast 19/5 -from 6:30 pm to 1:30 pm next day - lost 25 pounds, my BP is normal, my cholesterol is normal first time in years. It's so good for the body! I have been fasting for over a year - it's how I will always eat now. I saw an article that says women need to fast at least 19 hours a day to get the most benefit. First couple of months is really tough, especially when you are used to grazing all day.

    If ppl don't want to have to go to the trouble of blending Cottage Cheese, then they can substitute Ricotta Cheese. I like to use 1/2c on one slice of Dry-Toasted Keto Raisin Bread & Sprinkle with Cinnamon! (If you desire it sweeter, mix a couple of drops of Vanilla Creme Stevia into the Ricotta Cheese before spreading it on the Toast) Every way we can cut down on Calories is better for us, but make everything Flavorful, so you don't feel deprived! The higher Protein, Low Carb/Low Fat works best for me. I eat Varied Varieties of Fish everyday & don't eat more than 40-50gr Carbs a Day. I've lost 50+lbs two times in my Life & the first time I stuck to that diet for Many Years & never put on a Pound. Once was 48yrs ago when I lost 56lbs & then in the last 14mos I've lost 70lbs. If you go back to the old way of eating the pounds will return++ It's best for your body to keep your diet & exercise routine 7days a week & your body will respond better. (no "cheating" on weekends & vacations) My husband who never had a weight problem until the last 4-5yrs, has gone on the Keto Diet as well & has lost 35lbs within 6mos.

    Ooo…I eat a plant based diet and I need one of those storage containers for our meal prep salads. I make a “dump” salad for us to eat and I just use all the veggies we have for the week. ❤ I love food videos I can easily get ideas with just removing the things I don’t eat and recreating that basic part of the recipe. Yum, thank you you’re always making the best meals. I love chips too now I only reach for Siete or Boulder and it’s rare since I’m eating well. 😊 Great video 🥒👩🏻‍🍳

    I was hoping you would do an update on this forever! Very informative I love love I.f I had a lot of success from it & want to get back to it. I’m confused on the meal prep company.     I've just realised I've done intermittent fasting for years and for me it doesn't make a blind bit of difference 😢 my body seems to be different and I've went to slimming clubs with friends and eating less than them they lost a lot of weight whereas I gained for 2 weeks by going strictly by their food plan. I'm not joking they were eating like they were massive men and the weight just fell off them. Now I have to say I don't drink fluids much at all, a few glasses a week so I must try and up that

    Apreciada LIZ; al ver sus vídeos de años anteriores, a a pesar de que me gustaban y me siguen gustando, siempre había pensado que usted consumía cremas, natas, quesos, y panceta en grandes cantidades y eso no podía ser sano. Hoy al ver este nuevo vídeo, he visto un gran cambio en su físico; es decir mucho más delgada, más aniñada; en una palabra no parece la misma. No dudo de que este tipo de menús son mucho más sanos y fáciles de preparar; pero me pregunto... Donde está aquella belleza y felicidad que emanaba su cara; aquel encanto que la hacía única... no me malinterprete, usted es atractiva antes y ahora; pero bien cierto es que somos lo que comemos y el carbohidrato bajo mi parecer es necesario para crear serotonina, y además para relajarnos dando una bella expresión a nuestra cara. Tengo amig@s italianos que comen pasta a diario y están delgados; y yo misma si como ensaladas y proteínas me hincho y me quedo con hambre; aún así después de cenar a las 6 de la tarde, hago un pequeño refrigerio de un pedazo de queso gruyere o Maasdam con tan solo una tostadita y un vaso de leche de soja sin aúcar antes de acostarme sobre las 10; y ya no vuelvo a comer nada hasta las 12'30 del mediodía, y poco a poco he adelgazado algo sin esfuerzo y comiendo arroz y pasta casi a diario, pero sin apenas grasas. En fin las críticas si son constructivas siempre nos ayudan a mejorar o a no reincidir en lo que nos es perjudicial. De todas maneras usted es dueña de su VIDA, y está en su derecho de escoger el estilo que más le guste; pero personalmente he echado de menos a la LIZ que arrasaba con todo y que brillaba con luz propia. UN SALUDO CARIÑOSO, Y ESPERO QUE MI "CRITICA" NO LA TOME COMO ALGO NEGATIVO DE MI PARTE, PORQUE NO ES ASÍ. Conxita ^:^

    It's always nice to see your videos. I also do IF and high protein. You are still too young to talk about getting older and protein, after 50 that is a concern, what you need is working out and good sleep. Your kids look so big now. Take care.
