Hi.. is this an ammonia free hair colour or is it fine if we do the available hair colour in the salon, coz i heard we shouldn't use during breastfeeding.. m confused!! Please suggest if its safe!!

As it is post delivery phase it's completely fine to do hair colour. It doesn't affect milk supply at all (I'm a breastfeeding mom, personally I have not faced any issues or changes) As it is external. Internally what we eat is important for breastfeeding i.e. your diet. Also, I didn't had any postpartum hair loss so I did it. But, if one has postpartum hair loss kindly avoid doing any hair colour as it may cause more damage. Hair colouring only during pregnancy is not recommended as it triggers nausea which in extreme cases can lead to pre- term labour.

@@vinay_isha thank you for explaining Isha.. I consulted my lactation consultant who suggested to opt for ammonia free hair colour!! It's so difficult to decide such regular stuff of our life we have been doing regularly and have to rethink during motherhood 😊

So many reasons .The positioning of feeding ,the burping after feeding should be done for 10-15mins, or overfeeding etc..
