Glad to see you back . My sincere condolences to you and your family. When I was transitioning back in 2016 I lost my dad. The level of stress was something that I never experienced before. I would say take one day at a time. It’s hard but I ‘m sure is with you. Congrats on your move and job. I know sistawithrealhair is youtuber who got alopecia last year. Her channel is informative but hasn’t done a update for a while

Hello, hello, hello! I was just thinking about you. In the last couple of years I have gotten into body care routines and fragrances heavily. With that being said, I started not to like my hair products to be scented because it clashes with whatever scents I'm wearing. This reminded me of you not liking fragrance in your hair care products. Although, I didn't know your reason was because of eczema. Thank you for openly sharing your journey. You have certainly been through a lot, but you are still smiling and thriving! 🙏🏾 May your father rest in peace and congratulations on your new home. Sending nothing but positive energy your way. Welcome back to KZread. 🤗🤗🤗

Thank u!!!! Yes the whole fragrance free thing is due to eczema AND the fact that I just don't like the smell of most of the products. It's way too much. I prefer perfume if I want to smell good lol.

Condolences to you and your family. I was diagnosed with the same condition. I was given ketoconazole shampoo and it helped me. My dermatologist told me to leave my hair alone and it did. I would just blow dry it and put a headband on. It took a little over a year for that section to grow back and it did. I’m just like you can use fragrance on hair or body. I only use Vanicream products on skin not a fan of their shampoo or conditioner it makes my hair hard. However I still use the prescription shampoo and it’s been a blessing. Good luck on your journey.

This may be long...🫣Missed u and sorry bout your dad! I have alopecia areata. Yes stress kills my hair and the spots pop up like popcorn! I have always had health issues and COVID made it worse, so stay I and my body stay stressed! I have used Hollywood hair growth oil in the past and it worked, I have used wild growth oil as well, also mixed the blue magic grease, sulfur 8 and the do gro grease. Saw results with all. For my shedding, when cant get aphrogee, I grab extra virgin olive oil and chop up garlic(not the minced) mix an essential oil for smell. Let it sit 24-48 hrs in dark place. Strain the garlic from oil in applicator bottle, use as hot oil treatment. Get cap and leave on for 30 mins to 1hr and wash. I have left it on for 2-3 hrs cleaning lol. I do 2x wk when shedding is extreme, 1x month for maintenance. It REALLY helps! Beautician said she wish she could get other clients to do it! But glad u back, stay prayed up Queen!

By any chance, do you have any mercury dental filings? When I took mine out, my hair started to grow back and in it's normal texture. I only had 2 fillings, and my hair was losing texture and it was always coming out. And that was happening when I was in my 20s. I thought it was due to stress because my my mother had passed away during that time, but it was the metal fillings. I went to a holistic dentist to have them removed.
