Bro a quick suggestion. From experience, I can tell you that you can never be sure of the km reading on the meters of these cars. As the meter is an analogue one, it is highly possible that after 99,999 it has turned to zero again. So the 35K kms that it shows might be 135K in reality. Another reason for this might be that the meter stopped working and they kept driving afterwards. Sometimes they do this intentionally just to resell at a higher price. If possible, do try to dig deeper into the history of the vehicle to be sure!

Normally they(army/police) don't care about the resale value and they put the vehicle for maintenance only for major work.They ignore minor problem like instrument cluster, body vibration/extra noise from vehicle etc.

This is how a layman get his car repaired. You depend on mechanic for every thing. It’s better to discuss the things with few more mechanics and study car manual. Your mechanic has changed ECM not ACM. The stock engines in gypsy is not viable due to fuel economy. These engines gives fuel average of approx 8-10 kmpl. Normally these engines are replaced with Diesel engines of Nissan. Nissan 1.7 ltr Diesel engines would be the best option. It will easily mate with 5 speed gear box of Gypsy. Nissan engine will give 55 hp power with good torque. It will give give you average of 18-22 kmpl. In Mayapuri you can easily get at around 20k. As per looks, this car seem to Gypsy king, which was released by Maruti in 2005-2008. If you want more game, you can go for Isuzu or Toyota 2.5 litres engines. But they need a tough suspension. For those you need to spend few thousand more.

daring zone - one can go for bigger engines too. But that will increase the budget by 50-75k, as stock suspension won’t support heavy bigger engines. Entire engine bay and suspension has to be modified. Second stock transmission (gear box ) won’t mate with heavy engine. So a new transmission is also needed.

Average is not everything bro while u may like average given by the diesel engine I would prefer a RB26 ENGINE OR 1JZ OR 2JZ ENGINE FROM TOYOTA OR NISSAN OR HONDA THE Amount of horsepower it will give will blow that scross or ur modern car to space. If u don't belive just type 2jz engine performance on KZread and u will get the desired results

Hmmm, no questions for ur choice but honestly I prefer getting car repaired in company garage only ,there is difference between getting done from company and from out like most of time,although it’s just mostly parts,but when comes to engine and stuff, I prefer getting work done by company only ,still that’s my preference :-) ,good luck for gypsy :-)
