My kids father and I were not together at the time my oldest daughter was born. So she has my last name. He came back and we had twins. They have his last name. He left me for another woman with the same name as me. Then him his mother and that woman took my kids because I kind of lost it. They tried to erase me from my kids lives , but couldn't because they would have to explain why her last name was different from the other kids. Thank you God for fighting for me even when I didn't even know it.

I love this song. The 3rd verse really sticks out to me. She brought her wounds to God. She wasnt perfect and she knew she wasnt perfect. God did not send her away. He lifted up her head and called her daughter! We dont have to have it all together. If we offer what we have to God, He will use us!
