The colour is beautiful my dad has a Audi rs4 2014 and it’s the same blue and it looks amazingggggg everyone stops my mum and dad when they drive to say how beautiful the colour is

Hey Matt, great vid as always. To get a “factory finish” look with sealer, use a clean paint brush. Just simply brush over after application

I screen recorded the video and both of them turn off, the left side is just more noticeable because of the angle

My Audi has the “bendy headlights” and it’s fantastic on country roads. It’s weird going back to a car that doesn’t do it now, like it’s dark when going round corners😂

Deffo get same (adaptive) headlights on the car . I'm sure it would\should fail the MOT with that warning light as well on the dash ;-)

That’s true. I had a MOT failure for the lights not being within the required range so if they don’t match or is to high/low it’ll fail.

Missed this series build. But god going back to the S5 & Q5 takes me back, actually proud how far you’ve come mate. Scary what 18 months of a difference really can do, looking forward to the next 18 for you Hannah & Kev 🐾

Nice man, I purchased a wrecked 2013 Audi RS5 to work on. It’s at the audi dealership getting new keys and fixing the radiator leakage. I’m glad that you got it on the road 👍🏻

Matt. You should get your oil from FCP euro for your daily’s or just in general if you use a lot of full sub 5W30 on the germans. You can reboot le the oil at the end, and “return it under warranty.” This is not against their policies. They recycle the oil. Saves a lot of money on oil and good for the environment!

Hi Mat, I know it's an old video, but for future reference this is the digital oil level logic for the quickest way to check the oil level at standstill on an Audi. Engine oil above 40 degrees, Drivers door open, Engine stopped for at least 60 seconds & no engine speed signal. I hope this helps in the future

Those plugs are black because you have been starting and moving it around the unit. Lots of short use cold starts. Rich due to cold starts, hence the black plugs. Nothing to do with age 👍🏻

Matt I had a 6cyl A5 and used the 3M INTAKE SYSTEM cleaner and it worked great. Tons of power after the cleaning. I recommend it

9:17 Just a tip to help you. You can use a vacum cleaner and compressed air to clean the air filter box, as it will have leaves etc. in. If you don't have compressed air you can buy it on a can

Blocked air filters means less air to fuel mixture, so engine runs rich and carbons up the plugs. Brand New First Hand filters 😆 allow the correct air fuel mixture and a faster than before, more responsive driving experience. 😁👍🏼

I love the adaptive lights on my golf, when in corners it does help. Although I'm not sure if its worth the cost.

Awesome job on the service but one thing I noticed that’s not bad but good practice on those type of air filter housing. When you pulled out the first filter it had straw etc on it. Hoover out the air box as that crap still in the bottom of the box will just clog up the new filter

RS5 owner here can confirm 5w-30 is the correct oil for B8/8.5 RS5. It is recommended on Castrol's official website as well.

There's a dip stick tube one the 4.2's.. It's got a blank cap, but you can buy an actual stick from Audi... One of the first things I did, makes oil changes much better

i think there is a separate unit inside the car for the headlight adjustment, probably behind the clovebox if you unplug the plug to the unit the fault code on the dash disappears. i had the same issue with a a4 b7.

Great work to get the RS5 back on the road, I think I prefer the Sepang Blue over Panther Black...

I know I''m a bit late to the party. But you can check your oil level after a service by switching the ignition with the bonnet open. It should show up on the screen on the instrument cluster.

Cardboard panel gap measurement is better than how some other manufacturers must do it 🤣

Sneaky thing!

Pretty sure you can get a dipstick for the Audi, they just don't supply one as it measures the oil level electronically. There should be a small tube with a plug on the end, which you can replace with a manual dipstick if you want. Think there's a genuine Audi one that you can get. Certainly was like that on my old A5, so guess the RS5 would be the same?
