At the beginning your girlfriends face was neutral... but her smile kept growing as she listened/watched the video until at the end her eyes were smiling. I think she would LOVE some more Nightwish Now, Nightwish IS the ENTIRE band. They are all incredibly talented at what they do, and without each and every one of them (past and present), the band wouldn't be the same. But Floor is the front and centre singer so we do tend to focus on her. And her talent is just incredible. She is incredibly versatile. She can sing any genre of music and in multiple language. And her stage presence is intense! The more you watch Nightwish the more you realize how extremely talented Floor is...and how extremely talented ALL the other members of the band are!

"Ever Dream" from the same show is insane - the last minute or so of that song the full band is running at 110% like a train coming at you at 70mph and you better just get out of the way, cuz it's not stopping.

This is our Valkyrie Goddess for you. And you witnessed first hand a "Dutch Windmill" (she's Dutch after all) and you felt it 😁, and to finish you off, The Operatic "Cruise Missile" !!!! Awesome tune , although it is kind of a popish sound (originally sung by Anette), but Floor gave it soooo much POWER !!! Nightwish lyrics are often a bit interpretive, and not as "straight forward" as many other bands, because Tuomas (founder, leader, keyboardist and songwriter of Nightwish) prefers people to put their own interpretations and life experiences into the lyrics. you connect with songs on a personal level when there is something there that relates to things you have gone/are going through, and you may even find new connections later on in life when you have gone through other big events/emotions. there might be songs you are quite indifferent about (oh, nice song) and then you go through something big and all of a sudden it makes you break down in tears because now you relate to something in the lyrics you didn't before, and see it from a whole new perspective. imagination and life experiences are powerful, and Tuomas has great appreciation of this. It gets better. There is so much and it's all good, all of it. Floor's voice is not an accident. She is highly trained, and the band is made up of master musicians. Floor is very much talented, her voice definitely expresses the emotion that the lyrics want to show. If you want to know another facet of the band, I recommend you to hear "The Islander" Live at Tampere. This one is singed by Marko, the bassist and there you can see the versatility of the band. An amazing thing about this performance: The singer (Floor) was new to the band and singing songs that were written for other vocalists. She sang that music like she OWNED it (and still does). The opening track on this show, Dark Chest of Wonders, was a good one, too.
