My landlord sent me a very serious text few months ago because I miscalculated how much the rent increase would be between me and my roommates and that I needed to increase the amount we paid…I was off by $4. Yes you read that right, four dollars, not 40, not 400, $4 a month. I texted my roommates and let them know we each had to pay an extra $1 in rent. It obviously wasn’t a big deal (though one roommate joked that he “didn’t think he could budget for that”) but I still can’t believe he sent me a kinda angry text…over $4. Also my previous landlords tried to screw me out of my security deposit and only paid it back to stop me from taking them to court so yea, little to no respect or sympathy to landlords

Gosh that wheelchair story had me about ready to throw my phone across my room in anger. I hope that the young disabled man is doing amazing and is as happy as he can be just like he deserves to❤ props to that manager and doctor for sticking up to those insane mothers

The last story just made the bottom of my stomach drop out. I'm completely blind and the feeling of having my cane knocked away suddenly in the middle of a public place is the worst gut wrenching panic. But it's always just an accident and someone very kind always helped me find it and put it back in my hand. I can't imagine a situation where someone actually took it from me and tried to walk away, they'd probably get tased. The doctor and those employees are heroes.

That poor lady with the disabled son OMG. It's like these Karen's are sodding focusing all their anger and empty souls on her and the kids of those Karen's... jeez...! She has so much patience and grace, well done you love!

The son in the Story 2 would be an amazing Landlord in California. Squeeze as much as possible from tenants while spending less than the minimum to maintain the property. What are the tenants going to do? Move apartments? Good luck with a state with limited housing.

As someone who needs a wheelchair (as the op pointed out, they’re very expensive so it’s taking a while), that’s an absolutely terrifying thought, that poor kid, and wtf is wrong with those moms???
