Also been in the military, and I can PROMISE you, your chick will get dug out by another dude. It's inevitable. I was medical. There are more females in the medical careerfield than anywhere else in the military. Some with kids, husbands, bfs or whatever. It does not matter. Idk what it is about the culture, but cheating and sleeping around is synonymous with the military. And when deployed a lot of the girls turn into escorts. Yep, you think theyre over there on the front lines? Not at all, they on post charging the males over there 500 dollars a pop. Listen to the comments in this section. EVERY GUY HERE who was in the military is telling you the same thing. The girls in the military are literally for every body. EVERYBODY!!

Long story short, I'm an army vet that served ten years, married for six. I decided to finish my last contract and get out. When I transitioned out, my wife decided to join. I was her biggest supporter during basic and AIT. As soon as she got orders for her first duty station, I gave my job three weeks' notice and started getting the crib ready for transportation to come to pick everything up. Once situated, I hit the road and drove from Washington state down to Georgia, where she was stationed. Driving by myself, I made it there in just three days, and the very next day after my arrival, she blindsided me with a divorce, saying that she was no longer in love with me.

It's best to come to terms with it and realise that bitch didn't make you any less of a geeeeeee my bro Consider it a blessing that she broke it off instead of playing you along. @@ridhwanali4429 I really appreciate that. I by no means feel like I was perfect and probably could have handled certain things during our marriage differently, but regardless of whatever her reasoning was, she didn't have to end things the way she did. I have never been in the business of keeping a woman that doesn't want to be kept, so if she wanted to go, that's fine, but to blindside me the way that she did really fucked my life up. I've had to endure many hardships because of her choice to be malicious, and no matter how she felt about me in the end, I never did anything to her to deserve that. But hey, it is what it is, but I know I will eventually find a woman that truly appreciates ya boy.

The spouses at home are generally not faithful either, I know SOOOO many guys that came home to evidence of their wife messing around. It's a lifestyle that's not conducive (imo) to any relationship beyond casual hookups, and those casual hookups in the military do not frequently come in a guys direction. It's terrible for all involved, it's a bad scene. Join the service to get your life started, date once you're out. Get your life together and live better later.

Here's some advice for females who are joining the military or new to it: Don't date/hookup with someone in your chain of command/unit/squadron/whatever, especially in your first couple years. They *will* tell all of their buddies and make you out like some crazy porn star. Avoid acting like "I'm not like other girls" because guys will assume that means you're totally ok with being used, tossed, and acting like nothing happened at work. You may think you don't care now, but when it affects your workplace reputation, you'll start caring. I'd personally recommend dating civilian or someone in a completely different branch. Being respected at work for your actual ability to do the job well is a better feeling than whatever 30 second action you get from someone who could give two shits about your career. Not going to lie most girls don't have any business in the military. You are confined in a deployed space and even if the attention your getting is extremely passive it goes to their heads and they start picking one out of the pack and that is how the story starts. Guys make passes(Not Me) but a lot of the girls knowing that they are in a target rich environment just basically go after what they want. Regardless of their relational commitments. Imagine working 10 to 12 hours a day with the same people and never getting a day off for 12 months while deployed. Your in a stressful environment, potentially getting shot at, mortars hitting, some people on base don't come back etc. It could happen. You get a lot of stress and you get really close to people. Your locked in on a schedule and you generally see the same people everyday. Normally it would be with your guy friends but now there are women in these environments soaking up that attention like a bounty paper towel. If you want specifics I can enumerate on certain stories but suffice to say scandalous is the starting line in the race to see who can open their legs the widest. I know some men too, but mostly because of the ratio and the connections made women went down hard, sent home, pregnant the works. Out of the women who were deployed only two I know of made it home clean. One had sex repeatedly while deployed but her and her boyfriend were together on that deployment.

One of his friends who took pity on her told her to show up to the front gate at a certain time on a certain day. She did and found out he was married with 5 whole kids. Don't do it and that goes for both male and female. Guys who are married are cheating, guys with girlfriends are cheating. Girls with husbands are cheating and girls with boyfriends are cheating. You're feelings will be hurt if you do.

Alot of girls around me told me they did stuff and idek how they even did it because you're always being watched. I know some people who were cheated on while they were away and it's terrible no one deserves to go through that pain. It's easy not to cheat just don't be a scumbag. Her friend would make little advances, but I ignored them cause I thought they were trying to test me. One day I'm talking to my girl on the phone and she's like she might get sent back home because some girls in her platoon got caught messing around with the boys. I played dumb and let it slide. "Like you must think I'm stupid stupid. Why would you get in trouble for other girls getting ran through?" That night I went over to her friend's, and let's just say I put on my own boot camp drill. She came back for the holidays and on New Years I drilled both of them. "That's a story for itself." The next morning I told her I couldn't this anymore. "The reaction is a story for itself 😂" two months later she was married to another dude. Two months after that she was pregnant. When the baby came out it was not the color of the dude she was married to. Fortunate I dodged that bullet.😉

My ex was also active in the USAF and enlisted before I did. We had a long distance relationship. He cheated throughout the entire relationship (looking back, I should have known better because it started when I left for basic) and he even cheated after he proposed to me. I finally broke up with him and from that point on I said I'd never date a man in the military. Served the remainder of my enlistment single because I refused to go through that again. Not saying there aren't any faithful people in the military but the odds of there being a stable healthy relationship amongst military folk are slim. I deployed with one on a mild assignment, admittedly, she was solid for months, told everyone no. There was this one gent who came to our location on a 4-day R&R...she was seen around the R&R barrack and him several times...less than 2 months later, she was headed back to the US with a seed planted in her.

Formererly Army for 7 years. I'll just tell you my experience simply: I was 19. I went in with a girlfriend back home of a few years. We were honest with each other, there was no cheating but we ended things due to the space and being that young. Got another long term girlfriend shortly after. I tried to break things off before my first deployment for her sake. She literally did everything she could to stay together. That was fine, because I didn't want to mess around with Army women overseas. We had a 5+ year relationship through two deployments, no cheating on my side (99% sure no cheating from hers). Good relationships can happen, but they're difficult. I would NEVER try to mess around with a woman in the military, though. Everything Aba is saying tracks. Theres guys trying to break this women down for sex 24/7. Another point: you remember the girl in gaming video? The military guys around the military women are that cringe in a different flavor. It's not fun to be around.

Some people just get out of their hometown for the first time and realize how much is out there. I'm not saying the marriage is guaranteed to fail, but there are some added difficulties to be aware of.

He gets to enjoy all the things the Marines are missing, more specifically the Marine's girlfriend back at home while the Marine is away on active duty. The reason that they're called Jody specifically dates back to soldiers in WWII. They took a character from old blues songs named Joe the Grinder (or Joe D. Worked at an apartment pool as a teen over a few summers... lots of military folks, as I lived in an area with two large bases (Navy, Air Force). There was one lady, the day after her man deployed she was down at the pool with her side-dude... like clockwork, every time. Shit just made me feel horrible. I don't know how people do that to each other... I joined the Army after HS to pay for college (good call, that decision has paid dividends all throughout my life). I told my then girlfriend that we should break up as I was basically going to be gone for over a year. She said she wanted to stay together, so I figured what the hell, lets give it a shot. She cheated on me while I was at AIT. I wish I could say the stories should not be believed...

@@summers9052 Idk, if she's doing gangbangs and shit regularly for several years - then ties herself to a single dude who ain't always gonna be available and may not have experimented much, that step down in the excitement department could cause some serious stress on the relationship once it goes past a few months of her not getting what she's used to, in which case it's totally unfair for the partner to have to deal with the consequences of actions they were neither involved in or knew about. Whereas if the dude knows that her body count is in the hundreds at least he can prepare himself for that and make an informed decision whether he's still game or not (after all, some guys get off on that idea or like having a skilled partner, so it's not always a negative), otherwise he's trapped in Schrodinger's box and tying his life to the cat. Then there's also the matter of, if you're gonna tie your life to someone else, them refusing to be open to you isn't a healthy start. After all, a relationship ain't about finding someone, it's about finding the RIGHT someone for you, and if it's ain't gonna work then it's probably better to end it sooner and mutually move on rather than later when they're heavily invested emotionally and ending it might well mentally scar both parties for years to come.

And I see comments saying it’s women serving, when there are plenty of stories of high ranking men losing their rank or forced to retire because they cheated on their wives with a lower ranking member.
