I was at Mc Donalds one day waiting for my order to come up. The door opens and in rush a bunch of high school kids all chattering at once. They form three lines to order their food. In the middle of one line, two boys turn and they hug each other . A long and loving hug. The thing is none of the kids paid any attention to the two boys hugging. It was normal. When I saw it it made me feel great.

I cheered so hard for him when he punched the kid. Good punch too. You have to stand up for yourself. You can't just let people push you around.

I’m just really sad with the ending. I want to watch more. Christian is just so sweet and Thor is such a good actor. I love it. ♥️

Why this movie is so important is that it addresses the line between love and 'sexuality'. It is clear to me that Christian is suddenly confronted by his deep amorous love for Thor, and Thor...who will probably go on to have amorous love towards females, has a deep bond with Christian which is difficult to distinguish at a time when every character in the film is burning with the confusion of teenage hormonal insanity. What makes the writing of this movie very good, is that we the viewer, cannot know for sure, if Thor returns quite the same love for Christian. For me, it's a misnomer to title this clip 'my gay crush is moving away'.......because, the situation portrayed is far more nuanced and complex than that.

Your need to refuse to recognise real, age appropriate emotions displays your fears of emotional intensity. Feelings are real no mater the age: they are real nd need to be accepted as such and not dismissed as a phase. You do severe destruction to to not recognise feelings for the effort it takes to accept them and live with them. That feelings and attractions my change is what life is all about: to miss integrating when and what is being felt at tine is destructive. How can you predict that Thor's feelings will change jus because you are unable to integrate what he is feeling here and now.??

I finally saw Heartstone from start to finish after seeing a few segments like this one and am so glad I did - few movies have impacted me as strongly as it. The acting of all the characters was superb but especially Thor as that role contained such complexity. Though I may be biased due to my crush on his character.

The end of this clip, the last scene in the film, is one of the most devastating I’ve ever witnessed. Literally sobbing 😭. However, the whole film was beautifully rendered in every aspect that I can’t be too upset. It makes me sob because it so accurately articulates the confusion and constant fear I experienced growing up in a hyper-masculine society not dissimilar from the film’s. Hits perhaps a little too close to home.

The actor who plays Thor is mesmerisingly beautiful in this film, one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen

Both Christian &Thor, are awesome actors, taking on a serious role, like this, that means that the actos can do any role no matter what, and in this scene, after getting beat up, cause the bullies, they are so insecure, after learning. Chritian tried to kill himself, they thought it was becauseof them thinking about the gay thing, only Thor in the end finds out the truth that he is moving away, and that he tried to kill himself because his parents are divorcing so sad.

People get so wrapped up in the sexuality label. Young people are just trying to figure things out and deal with new feelings. You love someone. Can't that be enough? Must it have a label and baggage attached to it?
