He cracked Gate in 2017. At that time GATE was already an online CBT. Admit card is downloaded directly from GATE official website. Also payment slip / registration doesn’t have centre name.

One small suggestion for such situation. "Go to a nearby hotel" all hotels are open 24*7 and all of them have printers. Same happened with me, my centre was in another town 🙂. 7 AM all shops closed so i did this. 😂 Maybe it'll help you too.

I got so much anxiety by just hearing his story , can't even imagine how he felt in that moment

But puri story to sahi nahi ho sakti... 1st of all- payment slip me centre nahi hota 2nd- you can't drive 120kmph-130kmph in Delhi at any given moment ( not even in corona lockdown) 3rd- 1 ghante baad exam tha, aadhe ghate me 22km travel karke, pura ghar khanghal ke, aas paas ke cafe me call karke puchh bhi liya. 4th- Last, is it possible ki ek teacher exam dene ke liye jaye aur admit card hi naa le jaye... Technology aage badh rahi thi tab ye so rahe the,coma me the isliye jaan nahi paye ki admit card online download karna padta hai. 5th- Is it possible ki kisi teacher ko payment slip aur admit card me difference na pata ho??? Moral of the story- kabhi kisi par bhi aankh band karke bharosa mat karo... Whole story is made up... Use your mind and you'll find more plot holes in the story....

Similar things happened to me when I was in 12th.I went to delhi from kota for KVPY exam without carrying admit card thinking that it's a big city, I can print in morning on the exam day. But there, I realised no shops were opened.... Walked many kilometres, no zerox shop, no cybercafe...nothing.Finally I returned without giving exam from the centre. Moral of the story, don't take everything for guaranted.
