Today's video is slightly different, we follow Amy as she finally has her gastric sleeve surgery! It has been a long time coming.
Amy has been trying to loose weight since the age of 9, when she visited her first Weight Watchers group. throughout the years Amy followed 100's of diets, each time a fail! and each diet, she gained more weight!
seven years ago, Amy decided to bite the bullet and go for Bariatric Surgery, However this was not an overnight decision. Amy spent the next 6 years researching all different avenues, and what would be best for her. finally last year she took the plunge, spoke to her GP and got the ball rolling, finally she has now had her surgery and is recovering really well.
Amy started her journey to Bariatric surgery at 22 stone 8lbs/316lbs/143.3kg to prepare for surgery she was put on a diet where she lost 2 stone 2 lbs/29lbs/13.5kg it was a very restrictive diet, and Amy was signed off for the last week due to fainting and low blood pressure.
