Hi Marta, I think you have what we in Norway call «jordrotte /vånd». When i use Google translate it says dżdżownica» in Polish? They are vegetarians, loves roots esp roots from hazel here in Norway. Here we say that smell from fish we make them move if they have established in a garden, or the smell of Fritelliara Imperialis, as the whole plant including the roots smell of fox. And they do NOT like strongly “perfumed” scents like mint. But mint is really invasive here. When I had a cat, I never saw them in my garden, but last year I got some activity. The cats only kill them, do not eat them, but I guess they like to stay away from areas where they can be hunted. Good luck with your lawn, trees and flowerbeds.

Your September garden is still beautiful! Here is Massachusetts, USA the garden centers don't offer many fall annuals except mums and cabbage so I often use perennials in my containers and then stick them in the ground later.

Can't wait to see your Spring show! the bulbs and flowers you used last spring were so complimentary and beautiful! So inspiring! I agree! The year seems to go by so fast for me too. It's time to shop for and plant bulbs again :)

I'm sorry for your lawn, Marta. It's definitely a mole. I don't know Polish legislation, but in the Czech Republic, the mole is protected, so the gardener is not allowed to kill it. It is very difficult to get rid of it. Adviced are burying traps, tools making noice to scare the mole, putting predators' fur in burrows (dogs, cats). It helped us when the neighbours started to build a house, there was a lot of noise, paved surfaces. The mole couldn't use a bigger area, so luckily he moved away from us, voluntarily. 😊 Fingers crossed finding a way to expel the mole out of your beautiful garden!

I just discovered your channel and I have been binge watching. I am so fascinated by your garden because it is exactly the color and theme that I love! I am starting new with my landscape plans but I have gotten some really wonderful ideas from you! When I watch and listen to your video's your voice is very comforting and the way you describe your garden sounds like you are describing a real life magical fairytale that all of your subcribers should live this enchantment. Are you in the United States? or another Country? I was just wondering your weather conditions and what zone you are in. P.S. I haven't watched all your video's yet! Thank you for making my life a more magical!

She has the most beautiful garden that I’ve ever seen. It’s breathtaking! Her knowledge is that of a master gardener. She’s amazing. I love her voice as well. When I found her this summer I watched most of her older videos so I’m excited when she puts a new one up. I can’t get enough!

There’s traps but I use a no kill option. Castor oil is effective to get rid of moles/gophers. Mix 3 parts castor oil, 1 part dish soap. Put 4 tablespoons in a gallon of water. Soak the tunnels and entrances to evict your unwanted guests. We have so many so it’s very hard to control them here but for most yards this works well.

We in the upper Midwest of USA have had a dry summer. In Duluth MN we had a small rain ( 1/4 inch ) for each month May, June , July and 2 rains for August. Our trees are not looking good. Will probably go into early color for fall.

Your garden still look very nice in Sept! Love the Verbena, Geraniums, Phlox, and Dahlias! You also looked very lovely sitting in the bench among the pink super petunias :). You may have gophers or moles! A dog may help to scare them away. I plant mints and lavenders to deter them, squirrels and rabbits. I think they like Bone and Blood Meals so I switched to unscented fertilizer & Seaweeds. I began to pray for my garden recently too :) Desperate measure! So far things are looking better. Thank God! Good luck getting rid of them! Looking forward to Pansies, Violas, and Stocks to grow in pots soon!

Another beautiful video. Everything still looks so beautiful. I love your trimmed borders and your gravel used as pathways. Your little area with the purple and pinks is beautiful. I had lavender Sylvias and a delicate pink flower growing together and they were beautiful. My garden is new so this year I had new plants and flowers to get established. Not everything bloomed well. They had only a few blooms at the time. I’m terrified to cut my salvias back so I think that’s why I didn’t get the blooms I wanted. I’m learning. They are new for me. My woodland sage salvia is beautiful but again I didn’t get a second flush. As for fall planters I bought a new petunia. The colors are a deep golden brownish. They Like look like mum colors. They creep over the sides of the pot. I added some pentas. (Lucky Stars) They are a deep raspberry color of litter clusters of stars. Such deep rich colors. In the pot I’m adding purple shamrocks and Purple Heart plants with ivy. I’m hoping they do well. I can’t wait to see your fall planter. Your summer planters have been so beautiful this summer. Enjoy your weekend. 🐝🦋🪻

I really enjoy your videos. You seem so natural in front of the camera and explain things so perfectly. I think you husband is your videographer? I love all the techniques he uses with subtle camera movement and the audio quality is superb. I know I’m not commenting about your garden but I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the wonderful quality of the work you do. I really enjoy your channel and am slowly learning about gardening.

I have anti mole euphorbia plants which self seed around my garden, I take out the ones I don't want. I love the structure of these plants, but the roots are poison for moles, so they stay away. Also, moles do not like the worms that have been around these euphorbia. Many thanks for sharing your garden.

I am not sure what type of animals you have where you live but they are digging for grubs. You can put down Milky Spore to eradicate them but it does take re application and a few years to get rid of them.

I'm pretty sure those are gopher mounds. Unfortunately, the only thing that has worked for me is hiring a man who traps them.
