Those officers weren't "the govt". They were local and state LE. The actual security forces aren't coming out to work crowd control. And, that base is ENORMOUS. The actual base is so damn far away from that gate you wouldn't believe it.

@@e.l.nortonYup, it’s another 20-30 miles away from the main gate in a straight line. Follow the road, and you’re looking at 30-35 miles from the gate to the base! It’s actually insane just how far you’re traveling just to go from the gate to the base itself.

The raid seemed more like an Alien Woodstock in the middle of a desert by a heavily guarded military base and I love it. I hope it becomes an annual thing so I can go someday.

That would be awesome the gov't got really trolled but was awesome of them to allow this to happen, it was fun for the guards and not so much the eerie silence in those parts i think, not sure for myself since i have never really been there personally but wish i can go next year hopefully next year they do this exact same only bigger and hopefully no one breaks the law.

@Dre Thomas I never went and i admitted that, yes the govt thought people would actually storm, get past the gates but instead people respected, i admit that of course im also curious as to what is inside area 51 but rather would find out in a more legal way, its was a fun peaceful event from the looks of it from what i saw on youtube, i really hope they have this happen next year as well, and hope i can go, I could not go this year hopefully next year.

@Dre Thomas I know most would prefer that of course you can't just get up and go and not plan ahead and be prepared for anything like for example prepared in case you run out of gas and what not or have enough water with you to avoid dehydration and heat stroke but aside from that it was a great turn out since no one got killed, and it was not really about committing a federal offense to get past the gate most who were there just had fun and as it was planned one great big party, maybe only 150 people just showed up but the idea that we can get together no politics,beliefs vegan or not being part of it and just idk from what i have seen it was more peaceful then the news and gov't expected is all im saying to me it seemed very fun.

@Dre Thomas I will go some day hopefully, not even sure if its going to be an anual thing, anyways im 33 but im not used to getting into a car with random people if you think im that crazy, maybe when i can go i will ask my brother if he wants to come with me you know it might just be an awesome thing we have in common interesting to know about aliens or just some night sky watching,since we live in the city and with all the lights we cannot see the stars or anything like that, i have not camped out in years and i think it would be lots of fun granted there are bugs and some other things to worry about.

Zeph Orac back in the old days down on the farm, the method of killing sheep was slitting their throats. Watched many hundreds being killed that way, I still love my roast lamb. You just won’t win this argument with your one eyed views. People kill people, frequently. People have been known to kill people and eat them, so why would killing farm animals be so unsavoury. They are there to eat, and I truly enjoy them.

If you know anything about Rachel and A51 this is quite rare. Police and military is usually not very accomodating at all regarding their secret military installation. I never thought this was possible. I think the event will be less about A51 and more like a festival if it returns and gets bigger. It will probably be moved a bit due to security concerns as well. I can't see there being photo opportunities with guards at the gates if the festival was rather big and harder to control.

It was actually amazing how you could tell she was just itching to pick a fight, asking people these leading questions just to get them to admit to doing something she isnt ok with. I knew it was coming the whole time to, the look on her face as the guy was talking about aliens eating people you could tell. I am also fairly certain that had we saw the continuation of that argument homeboy was about to suggest that plants are more intelligent/sentient than animals.

Why, Adam, why, why, why did I become so HAPPY watching this video tonight? Maybe it was because of the guards’ friendly attitudes, and maybe it was the joyful vibe of the folks enjoying themselves, no drama (that you showed us anyway), your cool, laid back, and soothing presence, and maybe it was that wonderful old guy at the gate. Maybe it’s because I’m from South Carolina, and I’ve been by the UFO Welcome Center in Bowman several times (never went inside though)! Really well-done!

YES! I was so hoping you’d document this event haha it was filled with the exact type of crazy’s I expected. The alien eating humans argument was gold 😂 so was the guy at the gate! The law enforcement officers were really really cool, I was surprised. I can totally see this becoming an annual event. I kind of hope it does cause I wanna go!

Looks like it was a good thing that 100s of thousands didnt turn up, it would have been a shitefest. Glad you went so we can see what it was like, a street party in the desert comes to mind. So much more informative than the EWU channel.

Just some information here: In 1997 Joe Travis owned the little alien bar and diner in Rachel. Pat is his wife. Their daughter runs it currently. There was a gas station and small store at Rachel as well...but it closed. There use to be a Area 51 research center that was in Rachel but no longer exists. There was also a T shirt shop called close encounters T shirt shop...it is no longer there. The population in Rachel Nevada WAS 90 people ...but much smaller now. Many mobile homes have been pulled from the site and now only a few homes are there. I use to live in Rachel Nevada in 1997...one thing many people DO NOT KNOW is on March 13 1997...the Pheonix lights actually showed up at Rachel Nevada as well. The lights were in the town for an hour. this NEVER hit the news because no one from the town thought it worthy of telling the news...

Truly one of your best, like a mini documentary so good to see the local police and soldiers were embracing the turnout, thanks for sharing the trip, all the best from the UK.

Really cool everbody was on board in Rechel for the event.. even the cops said it was a good crowd and a good time and expect to have future events with more to do and better planning. This was throwed together in a hurry. But overall it was a success. I hope everybody made it home safely. Thanks for the vid.. THUMBS UP !!!!
