Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Today I'm roasting 1lb of Mexico single-origin coffee. I'll take you through my whole process from start to finished product. I am so grateful to learn on this machine. And I can't wait to put this knowledge to the next level with our new roaster coming soon!
My batch size: 140g x 4 = little more than 1lbs. ~17oz roasted coffee at the end.
Charge: 380F

Hey. Great videos. I ended up going for a bullet. Do you find turning the heat off for the first min works well on these smaller roasters as well as the bigger ones like your MCR.

Can’t say since I’ve never roasted on a bullet. But I think it’s industry practice for 1-3kg machines. Since it’s smaller drum.

would you mind sharing your roast profile on this? i know you've upgraded to a 1kg roaster but for us new 2k+ users who are learning, i am trying to maintain a decent RoR and wish to see other roast profiles.

Hi there, I am considering purchasing this roaster too, and been researching a bit about it. One thing I cannot be perfectly sure of this roaster is what kind of heat source it utilizes. Is it from hot air blower or from heating the drum electrically? Thanks in advance!

It’s a hot coil inside powered by electricity.

Hi, thanks for sharing this video. It appears you had the heat at zero when you charged, and then raised to 100% at the turning point. Just curious as to the reason for that.

Question: This roaster usually runs at 250g / batch. Why do you use 140g?

Terrible sound quality couldn't understand much of what you were saying. It would have helped if the camera gave clear shots of the profile.
