That was fun. This was one of the many times Hwasa triggered a shit storm over what she wore. Many Koreans thought it was too sexy and inappropriate. It caused enough of a controversy that RBW issued a statement saying they didn't have a problem with it and clarifying that the members had chosen their own outfits (the stylists were being blamed). Hwasa said nothing but about a week later at their next award show performance she wore black lingerie as though to say, "If you thought the red outfit was too sexy then how do you like this one, bitches?" That's our girl. As usual their critics missed the point entirely. 2018 was the year they started the 4 Season 4 Color album series and as the theme for their debut performance at a MAMA award show they went with the Summer color Red and matching emotion, Passion, and created a red-hot, passionate performance that went viral and burned down the stage. That's why the first group song was Egotistic, the Summer/Red/Passion song from the 4 Season 4 Color project. The MAMA performance was also a mini-version of their 4 Seasons S/S concerts that year, which featured 10 minute solo stages by each of the members. Look forward to more videos with Jenny. 😂

I have four KPOP girl groups which I think are the best. Of course there are other good ones but these are my favorites: 2NE1, Girls Generation (SNSD), 4Minute and Mamamoo. One main reason is that vocals are my prime focus and all of these groups have strong vocals. I strongly recommend you investigate them. By the way I am over 51 (71 years)..

Glad to know I'm not the oldest old fart who loves Mamamoo - I turn 70 this year. Never listened to much by 4Minute so I'll take your recommendation and check them out in more depth; SNSD's music wasn't my style though of course they're super talented. After MMM the girl groups I listen to the most are 2NE1, Spica (and spin off subunit Keembo + solo stuff) and, most of all, The Ark (and spin off subunit Khan + solo stuff). Not a fan of recent girl groups though I'm waiting for MMM's kid sisters Purple Kiss to mature and show us what they can really do with all that talent. :)

@@_KpopAjumma_ Even better! Glad to know there's more of us. Yes, they're both under RBW. One of the things you can count on with RBW groups is killer vocals. Swan did the guide vocals for Wind Flower, Solar gave PK pre-debut advice, and Moonbyul has taken a few of them out camping and appeared with them on tv shows. Purple Kiss's song and dance covers of MMM songs are a ton of fun.

I love that you are introducing more people to Mamamoo. Hopefully you will show her more Mamamoo, and after she learns more about them, ask her again, she might change who she picks for each. I still agree with you on the shag, but Hwa Sa is my marry too, I would think Byul and Whee In for BF, and Solar acts like the child most of the time, so she needs adopted lol

I read that Hwada has had the same boyfriend for 5-6 years and that he’s almost if not 20 years older. Lucky bastard!

@@_KpopAjumma_ IF it's true, he's suppose to only be 40 (she's going to be 30 this year) So he would only be 10 to maybe 12 years older then her IF it's true. The rumor started right after she left RBW, so a lot of MooMoos believe it was someone at RBW trying to start trouble for her. Thinking Hwa Sa's fans would get mad at her, but instead all of us were happy for her (if it's true). We all just want her to be happy, and if she has had a BF for that long, it would be wonderful!

So glad to see you are introducing your friend to our wonderful Mamamoo! It makes sense that you both picked Wheein to adopt. She is called Wheepup after all. I think Hwasa adopted her on day 1 of middle school, and Solar and Moonbyul also adopted her too. Only her cat, Ggomo, has not adopted her, but instead hired her as his personal butler but for no pay.
