I agree with your theory of the machine having to pay out sooner than later when someone takes a big loss, however, I also believe that what ever denomination it was that took the player's money is what it will pay out on (my theory that each denomination and bet level queues it's own total bets made/payout ratio). That said, NG probably lost $55K at the $5-$25 denom level.

@@Cyrilk70 I think I had an album around 1984, but his songs and Nik Kershaw wouldn't it be good. Were played non stop in a new video jukebox in the hotel I drank and worked at. Too much has turned me sour towards their music. But the cassette was a wonderful piece of kit. My first cassette was Rumours Fleetwood Mac and I also bought my first Walkman in 1982. My dad still had an 8 track in his car back then. Those were massive tapes
