Hey Bruce. What are your thoughts on wearing helmets in side by sides? The trails I ride in Ontario mandate it by law, so I've gotten used to wearing mine all the time. However, I see you choose not to wear one when jumping your machine on your property. I gather from that you perceive the risk to be low, and / or you don't think the helmet would help you in a crash.

Your buddy has a great outlook on life and everyone needs to hear his message. Even before his accident he seemed to have the right outlook. More adventures with the guys please. After a bad fall earlier this year, I had back pain that would not go away and limited motion. A trip to the Orthopedic showed T11 and T12 fractured. Doc said it was already healing, but I was lucky to be in that condition and not much worse. It can happen in an instance.

Great story! Those trestles remind me of the ones that include Goat Canyon Trestle down here in eastern San Diego County. Beautiful old wooden trestle. Unfortunately it's on land owned by the railroad and walking to or on it is considered trespassing. Lots of folks still go out to them. It's great that you get to explore yours!

Hello again from the south Okanagan. Way back in the day - mid '80's - we could get on the old KVR bed by Chute Lake and drive all the way to Kelowna. The tricky part was crossing those old trestles which I've got to admit gave me pause. A few of them were burned in 2003, but were rebuilt - and as you see now are blocked from driving on. Anyways, for sure it's a nice view from up top in a few spots down here.

Hey Sean buddy another great adventure that was awesome, I like how he has his Jeep done up for a paraplegic, I've been watching the newa Sean and all their showing on the Canadian news is BC, they're gonna get hit with another storm, and if they're not getting hit with more rain, they're getting snow snow storms in the interior BC and Southern BC, basically all of the province is gonna get hammered again, so I don't know when you're doing back home brother, but I hope you drive safe on the way back, and I know you got the trail recer and that could go through anything, I've seen that on your videos, anyways brother drive safe and good luck when you get back home and be safe, KC 250 literally is cut right off from the rest of the island, like there's no highway, the trans Canada between Victoria and British Columbia is washed away, yeah washed away anyways brother just stay safe out there!!👍👍💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦✌✌

Man Bruce is an amazing human for getting after what he wants... Where there is a will there is a way !!! I had noticed that Bruce had some sort of extended front splash/mud guards on... Can I get more info on them? I have the same fender set-up and the extra splash back with normal driving gets annoying. Thanks !!!

They make a HUGE difference. I made them myself out of some good quality plastic. Cut a custom shape and just screwed them to my steel fenders. Keeps 95% of the spray off my front driver/passenger windows.

@@BruceCookfmx Awesome I was thinking it would be a DIY thing. I have a couple old mud flaps from a truck and I'm going to do the same thing. I'll cut them then use self tapping screws with washers, should do the trick !! Thanks for getting back to me Keep doing you man "Bruce's" never give up LOL
