yes any major is fine as long as you complete your pre-med classes :) be sure to plan with your advisor so you don't get too overwhelmed when trying to decide what classes to take and when!

What residence hall do you think is best for biology major because I don't want to walk a lot

I stayed in jester west! that one is pretty close to the locations of most of your classes during your freshman year + right next to the library and gym

At UT austin how do they pair roommates with each other? Is there a way to get people with similarities with you.

Yes. After you register for university halls they let you set your preferences then you can use a matching tool to search for someone who has similar preferences. However I would advise you to connect with people on Facebook or Instagram groups and see if they’re looking for a roomate. That way you can introduce yourself, set boundaries etc.

I'm a rising HS senior and planning on being pre-med! I really want to minor in polisci or something in humanities with a major in bio. How hard would you say it is to be pre-med with a minor? (I'm loving the channel by the way, I'm a long time insta follower!

not hard at all (relatively)! usually minors at UT require that you take about 5 classes in that field, so since I am a sociology minor, I planned it out so that I take at least one sociology class each semester. it surprisingly left me with quite a bit of space at the end once i'm a senior! :)

Is Bio 315h too hard for first semester? Does this one have lab? Thanks.

i think it depends on your financial situation! like I didn't make friends just bc I stayed in a dorm but it did make me feel closer to campus and stuff, if that makes sense. im staying in an apartment this year and it's cheaper than a dorm :) so yeah it just depends on what you weigh as a pro or con!
