La vaste majorité des Parisiens ne détestent pas "tout ce qui n'est pas Paris", ils n'ont rien contre les provinciaux. L'inverse est vrai, de nombreux provinciaux n'aiment ni Paris ni les Parisiens. Je suis d'origine Normande et je n'ai jamais eu à souffrir de mes origines durant plus de 20 ans passés à Paris. J'ai eu très rapidement des remarques désobligeantes, voire racistes sur ma mention de Paris et mes origines Italiennes en province (à Rennes et à Toulouse). Si l'on parle d'aller vivre en province, c'est autre chose. J'ai principalement vécu dans des grandes villes (Milan, Londres, Paris...) et j'apprécie ce mode de vie et ses avantages. J'ai aussi vécu dans des endroits plus petits, voire reclus (en montagne) et je peux comprendre le manque d'attrait que ça peut représenter pour quelqu'un ayant passé toute sa vie dans des métropoles.
French people take shows like this too seriously. French shows are too realist and boring to me. If I want to see real life, I’d look out the window. I find American viewers of the show wind up loving Paris and the French, so no harm done.

The first season made me cringe so hard but I actually enjoyed the second season 🤪 Other than Mindy’s character - she just got more and more annoying😅 I know it’s super exaggerated but I’m okay with that cause I know the real Paris and can separate it from that 😁
