Lockdown tips part one ... the free running rig. This is my free running rig which I use for all of my cage/window/bomb fishing, up to a distance of 40 metres .
Жүктеу.....

Hi Ian , thanks for your comments 👍.. to be honest I use the free running rig for all my short range feeder work , for silvers , then for anything past 40 metres I use a helicopter rig 👍

Thanks Graham really like the idea of the second twizzle boom and knot. Will certainly bring trying it next time out. 👍

Nice rig just not free running ,,,don't think this would be allowed at world feeder champs level as the small knot could tether a fish to the feeder if your mainline broke, I might be wrong though.

The rig was shown to me by a member of the England feeder team John . The feeder will always pull over the knot under the slightest pressure , hence why its only a single knot . It’s not banned at any free running rigs only venues either , I can see where you are coming from though 👍

@@grahamwestfishing7945 before fips I used to tied a loop about 18 inches on my mainline with the swivel on the loop then tied a little loop at the end of that loop for the hooklength effectively making it a bolt rig which wasn't it's original intention which was to have a tangle free rig which it was ... I tie it now like your rig but without the small knot , I'm still surprised this rig passes the free runner feeder test cause that small knot to me stops the rig becoming free running under fips rules .
