My FPV Drone's Lipo Battery Caught Fire
This was the first time I've actually had to deal with a lipo battery catching on fire. I think ultimately it was from the carnage at the end, possible desync. At the end ashley also wanted to see what it was like to kite the wing so i let her try it and she did better than I did my first time! We did have some good winds but can't wait to have some nice weather again to go back out before the snow and wetness starts!

i think one of the inductors on board were fried a bit causing the crash; found the damage on it way later.
uhmm did the battery catch fire in the air or on the ground cuz i think that his motor failed and he smased into the ground so the battery was punchtured the battery and it went in smoke

Yikes!! Great footage as always but the battery going up like that is not okay! 😫 I’d be contacting the company if I were you, seeing as it’s brand new and did that? That’s bs! #DroneBatteryFund 😋

Damn. Reach out tot the battery manufacturer and tell them their battery caught fire and have them pay for a new drone. (If you share the video as evidence -leave the audio out. 😀

ive thought about it, but watching the flight it does look like it was a desyc so the batt must have punctured hitting the ground. I'm looking at the logs though to see the battery voltage and if i see anything i feel was funky ill definitely reach out to them. otherwise ill take the L on this one! just lucky it wasn't indoors when it happened!
no idea how is this possible or how much do these brands cost i recently got in and since dangers these batteries bring i searched best brands tato R-line were nesr top or was it top no idea so that is what i get and those are probably only batteries ill get if first batch goes long way.. lipo isnt something zo play with definetly there is probably overreacting going on lately like it is for everything else but these batteries are litteral portals for hellfire why tf would anyone try to save on those
