I would love to hear more about Raymond's story. Just what we got to hear in this video is insane. Being convicted at 16yo for a crime you didn't commit? • @Sinbeenwinning

Like Raymond said most ppl are doing longer sentences because they can't afford to fight the crime, nothing about prison is about reform. It's literally modern day slavery. I love this and the last note that Raymond said. It’s so true. Just because some people are in prison it doesn’t make them less human and not everyone in there is the same stereotype people often think of or label them as. You realize a lot more about it when you’re curious and have family members that have been in the system. The stereotypes can sting. The prison system needs more reform in areas. Sometimes it really does set certain people back and I wonder is the “lesson” ever gotten over when you spend so much of your life after prison stilll paying for something you did a long time ago. Depends on the crime for sure though. I don’t think it’s something as simple as people try to make it and shouldn’t be treated as a blanket concept of “dealing” with it. Some people need real help and mental health advocacy.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the prison whether or not it tells you it's recorded, at least on both ends. They also might've just been making a joke. Many people joke to cope. Like, they obviously weren't in a good place, and even if they knew, they likely didn't care at the time. That's such a weird thing to nitpick about.

Um...this is...something. I know everyone in the video grown..it's just..definitely not relationship goals. A women with no children tied herself the a ex-convict with 5 kids and a woman is with an ex-convict that committed domestic violence on an ex. Not saying neither aren't changed people for the better, it would have been nice to hear the ex-convicts talk about the mental help they received since being released. The man with 5 children should not have been ok with getting with a young woman with no kids and watching her change her life for him. Hopefully the other learned how her way of thinking and changed for the better.😐

It's incredibly doubtful that he sees them much anyway. I'm sure his baby mama(s) have full custody given his history. I doubt she's had to change much in that regard

can someone explain to me why people get teardrop tattoos? i understand that it means they served time, were in a gang or killed somebody but i don't understand why anyone would want a sign of that permanently on their face? why would you want everyone to know you went to prison/are in a gang/killed somebody? it's like you're singlehandedly outing yourself

most people in the prison system are repeat offenders and stay and a sign on your face that you have killed multiple people is a dominance sort of thing in prison
