5 gallons of flex seal and 2 fat paint brushes, 50 cans of spray foam, 20 or 30 boat bumpers, or take a floor jack and jack the Bimini top up high and pull another boat underneath it. Go get 'em Tiger !!!

Been there done that. The only boat I ever owned, sunk to the gunnels. I had my 9 year daughter and her friend out on the lake. Had a snag put a hole in the hull. I got it close to the shore and swam with the girls until they were on shore, then swam back to the boat and grabbed a rope that was part of the anchor and started swimming pulling the boat. A couple of guys on another boat, and tied on and pulled the boat 300 yards to the ramp where I could get it back on the trailer and tow it home. I scrapped the boat and never bought another one. I do understand how you felt. But just like me, nobody was injured, and you lived to fish another day.

boy, hard to enjoy the outdoors when stressed over not knowing if you are going to keep your pride and joy above water. I was impressed with the Milwaukee water pump; I have Ryobi Tools, so I went and looked, and they have a pump similar to the Milwaukee $159.00 tool only. it pumps 15 gallons a minute, thought that I might get one. who know I may run into you on the lake someday. lol glad you got your boat back on the trailer.

Glad you didn't tear anything or loose anything. My brother and i got cought in a storm 3 years ago and sunk the boat, lost everything....ONLY TAKES A MINUTE TO TAKE A BAD TURN..

This happened to my 21 foot bass boat. I've never been back out on the water with 2 - 1,000 gpm pumps installed. Peace of mind is worth the money.

OMG That was a scarry thing. I'm always leery of Lake Fork's stumps under the boat everywhere. I already bent a shaft once. I'm so glad you made it. Amazing the crank battery held up under water.

If anything like this happens again as long as you are moving forward with a little speed over an idle pull the plug on the back of the boat. It creates a venturi effect and will drain the water even faster than just the pump but replace the plug if you slow down or stop

Heart stopping, nail biting adventure, for sure. Wow, was a miracle you got the pump and multiple batteries. Could have ended so differently. Praying for a quick repair, and minimal collateral damage, so you can be back on the water doing what you love and are so good at....catchin' those crappie slabs!

Sorry for your misfortune. This is a great video to experience what happens when things go wrong on a boat. It can get serious rapidly. There are dozens of lessons to be learned from this. Man, Talk about y’all brought back some memories. I had just gotten home from my deployment with the Marine Corps during Desert Storm and went fishing deep in the Atchafalaya Basin with my dad and younger brother back in 1991. I didn’t know that the hose to the livewell was really short and needed to be replaced, and that the whole time we were fishing, water was leaking into the boat, but we couldn’t see it because the water was under the floor. My dad kept saying that we should leave because it was getting dark, and all the other people who were fishing had left, but I had spent 8 months in the Persian Gulf without fishing, so I insisted we stay. After dark, when I tried to leave and get the boat on plane, all of the water rushed to the back, water poured over the transom, and within 2 seconds, the only thing sticking out of the water was the nav lights on the bow (the canal was only about 6’ deep). To make a long story short, we had to wade to the bank through MANY alligators, try to light a fire, and about 2 AM, some guys who were frogging found us. They helped us pull the boat to the bank at about the same time the sheriffs department showed up to look (and drag) for us. My unit was supposed to be going through our final discharge paperwork the following morning, and I was able to make it back home, take a quick shower, and make it back to our unit headquarters for 6 AM (without sleeping a wink). The area where we sunk the boat is far back in the swamp of the Atchafalaya Basin and one of my most favorite places on earth, but I still get an uneasy feeling whenever I go back there. I know this is LONG comment, but I just wanted to say that I’m glad y’all made it out OK, and that I can appreciate what y’all went through. The fact that you shared it with your followers may end up helping others down the road. May God bless you and your family-love your channel.
