Some highlights and lowlights of my first year of indoor skydiving. Special shoutout to the team at Oceanside.
Average of one hour flown per month except for ~2 hours in December of '21 and '22. I had about 40-45 minutes of time prior to the first clip and around 90 skydives. I typically try fly 10-15 minutes a week.

Awesome!!!
Broooo this is sick. Thank you so much for referring it to me on that Reddit post. I am incredibly motivated to get in the tunnel and start progressing!

Expense, mostly.
Great progression! I wish I did what you did and went for the head down carving before layouts, been working on those for months.

@@tyresewilliams114 Awesome. Can't wait to see.
Really nice to see the progression over time. I have been wondering if tunnel time is worth it to improve skydiving skills.

Had around 90 jumps and 45 minutes in the tunnel prior to the first clip.
$12k for 16 hours? damn i cant wait to train.. you got far for 16 hours
Great job! At what hour mark did you start sit flying? And then head flying? It’s cool that in just 16 hours you managed to get so good at linking routines! I have no idea how long it will take me - feels like maybe hundreds of hours lol

Started learning sit around 2 hours in. Head down around 4 hours in. Everyone learns differently, no doubt! Progress is all that matters, even slow. There are times I've left the tunnel and felt I haven't improved at all, even backtracked. But the progression is definitely there!

I was flying around 94-95% which is a lower flyable HD speed@@alexw1709

No, you don’t want to know. Best way to get 16hrs of tunnel time is just be a coach yourself lmao
Bet that’s expensive AF
