Yes sir, trucking has changed tremendously. I started in early 2000’s and it was totally different. No elds, only paper logs, no damn gps you had to write down the directions turn for turn 😂😭and use the map to find the closest interstates when we got lost. I miss those days

I’m looking to switch over to tankers & ride my days out with a hood company. Im only 1 year of experience trucking as of now & companies require minimum 18 months. Most 2 years experience. So I have to wait it out a bit longer.

Hopefully a company out there gives you a shot. I’ve been driving trucks for 2 years, recently just got accepted to a local milk hauler who was looking for someone that has 2-3 years of experience. I took my chances and applied, the owner said he’d be happy to have his company show me the “tanker ropes”. Good luck with your search! & never be scared to put yourself out there 💪🏽
