My First Tournament in 8 Months

What? NXXT Tour
When? March 26-28
Where? Ocala, FL
Why? I have not played in a tournament in 8 months, so I am slowly getting back into it! I've been focusing on work this past year, so my game has been put on the back burner. Moving forward, I am going to start grinding on my game again. I'm pumped!

Beautiful video ... only because your Dad is such a handsome guy! 😁 What a privilege for a father and his daughter to be able to spend such quality time together. 🤩 For me that was the highlight of this video. On the other hand Cailyn, perhaps you should have asked Sabrina to caddie for you. Her continuous blabbering 🤣 always ignites your best competitiveness! 😂 Best wishes from South Africa! 🇿🇦

I am referring to the color of the turf that's laying down in the direction away from you. the dark green stripes is the grass laying towards you. the grain on Bentgrass greens ALWAYS follows the sun, so no matter the direction of the cut, the grass blade will lean that way. I hope that helps. Good luck & always remember that it's just a game. 😀👍

I have been where you are with your game this Friday. First 3 holes were great. Bogeys, yeah. But i striped my drives and 5woods. Then the driver and woods fell apart. What saved me was my chipping and pitching from 75 yds. SOLID!!! Putting was good. But i lost strokes with my driver and woods. 49, +13 for 9 holes. If i didn't have those issues, i would've shot +4 through 9. Oh well, another round...

I have to agree with ajh21313. Your caddy is taking away from your concentration. He's talking to you until seconds before you hit your shot, and stands two feet away from you. Y'all need to have your strategy conversation, (yardage, clubs, wind, etc.), than he needs to step away and I mean out of sight and not say a word until you hit your shot. Just like the caddies on the LPGA / PGA. By-the-way, those are some long holes. You played a 578 yard par 5, that PGA length. Keep up the good work and good luck!

Cailyn: I worry about you a bit. Lyme Disease is caused by a bacteria that is transmitted by blacklegged ticks. These are in turn carried by deer. You have a lot of deer in Indiana. With that in mind, it seems wrong to wear those short socks (with no ankle and shin cover). It seems you are inviting a Lyme Disease infection. This is a somewhat common one in golf. I looked it up; and Lyme Disease is supposed to be common in Indiana. I think the no ankle cover socks are very stylish. However, I would appreciate it if you wore socks with good lower leg cover.

To me it looks like your finish needed to be higher. You were really coming across your body with your finish sending your ball right. Your tempo looks fine and transition really want as bad as you were making it out to be. I would simply hit the range and work on getting your hands thru and up higher and not as much low and across your body.
