I’m a British born Bengali. I’ve only been to Bangladesh once when I was 1 years old. Many many years ago. I never realised how beautiful my home country was until I started watching your videos. My mum emigrated there 20 years ago. I don’t think she’s even seen as much of the country as you have. Thank you for the insight to my birth culture.

@@carriepatsalis When I visited Bangladesh, I went to so many places, tasted so many food. I tried two kinds of beef in Chittagong, one called Mezbani, and I forgot the other one (Maybe its called 'Urus' or 'Orus' i forgot it). That also tastes heavenly! Personally I am a beef lover, but Chittagong is the heaven for Beef! Ask your host Carrie, he definitely knows about that! 🇷🇺

Oh carrie the noodles like thing is called Dudh-lau. It's made with Gourd and milk.. It's an age old traditional dish of BANGLADESH😊

Must try Mezban beef when visiting Chittagong. Also, don't forget buna beef. Chittagong is the beef capital of Bangladesh. Also, most heart attack cases in Bangladesh. LOL

Thanks Carrie ☺ I absolutely adored that delish buffet selection, but sadly I probably won't be able to eat much of that food as I had a bit of a heart attack almost 2 weeks ago, so I'm recuperating back home in Chester after a week in hospital, with mother making chilli free home cooked Bangladeshi grub for me! Was that chop suey Amit was eating as it sounded as if he may have mispronounced it? That mango bar wasn't that bad by the way, I enjoyed a few last November but I've not tried the UK variant! Have a truly beautiful week & weekend my dear 🤗

Yes a few more steps like cleaning up rubbish on the streets will transform Bangladesh.. it’s the one thing I would love to see change as I know it would make a huge difference to tourism.. need a keep Bangladesh clean campaign from the government 😍
