@@bxhija7898 actually Young K wrotes the most tracks, but Wonpil helped too. Young K wrote for artists like GOT7 and TWICE and he is in the top 15 artists in Korea with more own-writes lyrics protect by copyright in 13° I guess

Day6 have 4 of the best vocalists in kpop in my opinion. Plus they sound exactly like the studio versions when they sing live, if not better. When I think I like one of them more, someone else comes in with their vocals and blows me away. And it’s always so unexpected. I'm so glad you listened to them. I see that you've been informed about Wonil already. His voice had me absolutely echanted when I first heard them. Also Day6 further prove that being a crackhead is a requirement you need to meet to be accepted into JYPE. If you ever decide to look into them more, you'll probably like their personalities as well.

love this reaction, day6 is incredible!! to me they are the epitome of a genre, like they incorporate every element you'd want out of a rock song and execute them perfectly. their live vocals are flawless and SO smooth, jyp seriously lucked out with so many phenomenal vocalists. looking forward to future reactions!!! SEE??? THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN TELLING YOU huhuh i'm so happy you reacted to them, been waiting for ur reaction for a while. I don't even know what to recommend because all of their songs from top to bottom is so good, even the bsides. i also recommend that u read the lyrics too after cuz the song will hit you harder. all songs were written/composed by the members themselves as well as the lyrics (most of them...almost all of them were YoungK's lyrics which have been highly praised by industry experts). i guess u should check out Zombie, Days Gone By, Hi Hello and I Wait... i think u'll love them.

Yey DAY6!! :D They are amazing and so so talented, i was just listening to the album and...OMG its already in my top albums of the year! The emotions these guys can make us feel is unbelievable! You should check out the School Trilogy by Day6. In order it goes "What Can I Do" , "I Loved You" and "When You Love Someone*. They actually act in the MVs and the story's really good. Also, "You Were Beautiful" is a sequel to their debut song "Congratulations" which has one of the most emotional MVs I've ever seen.

fun fact! most people dont know this but you were beautiful was made in their project called everyday6 which they composed and made 2 songs every month, and then in the end chose one of the 2 for their album sunrise, and the other one in moonrise.

Older idol Kpop MVs were more story driven. Today the MVs tend to be more performance based cuz they’re generally more approachable internationally, which has become a big market for idol groups. Some still happen but they’re not as elaborate for the most part. Like a relatively recent one was from the former group Wanna One who released a story MV for their song “Beautiful”, and I remember a lot of international fans going “what’s happening, I don’t even remember the song cuz the story is confusing” while Korean fans who watched it were tearing up since they understood the language and were able to process the story with the song. So it’s a tricky market. I bought Day6’s “Sunrise” album like 4 years ago and I still listen to it to this day.

Jae: electric guitar(did the riff in the end of shoot me), soulful voice Sungjin: guitar, raspy voice Youngk: bass, stupid wide chest range Wonpil: keyboard/synth, the buttery voice with the nice falsetto you liked Dowoon: drums, doesn't sing often, but has a pretty deep voice for such a childish vocal tone(songs he sang in: Wanna Go Back, Lean On Me(at least I think), I'll Try(he's the bass harmony for the bridge), 365247, Beautiful Feeling, there's a few more but I can't remember them all loll. Also Best Part. He doesn't sing in it I don't think, but Best Part is my favorite drum performance from him. Best Part and How Can I Say.

You gotta watch Congratulations both Korean and English versions also listen to Zombie both Korean and English versions For congratulations in the Korean MV you’ll notice that there are 6 members but in the English version there are 5 that is because one of the members left the company and the group in 2016 after a dating rumor in JYP there is a 3 year dating ban and this is to allow the idols to get the hang of being new idols and taking everything in and learning the ropes of the kpop industry 3 years after the idols debut is when they are allowed to date but someone started a rumor that the member was in a relationship and it was never confirmed nor denied whether or not he was in a relationship and since then DAY6 has been a 5 membered group

u should check out "I wait" which experiments w more electronic sounds and interesting chords and also "I'll try" which is a song they wrote dedicated to their moms which shows off their voices more

they have b-side GEMS, so if you like their music I suggest you check out their b-sides, you'll fall in love
