as an LA native, this was by far the best LA vlog i’ve seen from a youtuber-it feels authentic and i’m so glad u got to experience different parts of LA and socal-hope you had a good trip

A vlog showing a balanced mix of southern California’s natural beauty and its cultural coolness. I lived in Laguna for three years and LA for the next 25 (from 1976 to 2002) before moving to Paris. Moya’s a talented filmmaker.

I lived in LA for six years and I will say that even though every single bad thing people say about it is absolutely true (people, traffic, cost, etc.) it is still one of the most amazing cities in the country anyway. Honestly living there as a non-wealthy person isn’t for the weak but I look back on those years as some of the best of my entire life so far. There’s so much to do and see and eat, the weather is impeccable, even driving a couple hours in any direction will bring you somewhere magical. Ugh this video really made me miss it lol you seem like you’re having a fabulous time!

I’m from California born and raised and it’s more than Los Angeles! I grew up in LA but in a small beach city and it’s just great! You can find an organic experience that is outside of the glitz if you let yourself have that experience. The one thing I love about travel is showing how everything in each country is not monolithic. Your video definitely makes me miss SoCal!

When I lived in LA one of my favorite things to do was to leave LA lol meaning that yeah just and hour or two outside the city will bring you too a completely different environment. I live in gloomy Portland now and I definitely miss SoCal often as well!

thank you for this vlog moya :) throughout the whole video i could really feel that dreamlike sensation that you were talking about at the beginning, the music and the clips of the various landscapes made it so peaceful and soothing, i loved it ! LA looks like a really nice city, it's definitely not the same as cloudy paris (but i guess i would have the same problem with the lack of transportation) also you looked like a little kid in her parents car in that clip 22:46 🥺🥺
