As for the pausing ... believe it or not this still got copyrighted. So I’m figuring it all out, trust me I hate pausing . Thanks so much for pulling in 💓

@@lazaruslong697 I agree with you in part about us Americans. I've often thought it sad that radio play over the years has put us into a corner musically. BUT, with the digital age and unlimited access, we are starting to catch up. There is some wonderful talent out there that I've personally discovered just in the last couple of years. Cheers from Florida!

Hello @ Gitana Adelle! Nightwish Army incoming here, your reaction just appeared on our radar.. Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band, performing in Wacken in 2013, in front of 82k+ people. Yeah, the entire performance was great. Since this is your first Nightwish experience, I'll give you the short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan: " Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland. Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. Marco Hietala is the Bassist and vocals .And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen . Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrulmentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition. Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her. There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps. I want to welcome you to the Nightwish community. I hope you like them enough to continue the journey. Believe me Nightwish will surprise you with their songs. You will never know what to expect. They are unbelievable live. I want to warn you that Nightwish fans are hard core. So be prepared. lol " Other Nightwish songs with the current lineup of the band you may like: "Ever Dream" live at Wacken 2013 (uplifting vocals) kzread.info/dash/bejne/i6t7taN_kdWugso.html "Song Of Myself" live at Wacken 2013 (dark/metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/noWpl7Ojmceuh8o.html "Storytime" live at Wacken 2013 (uplifting vocals) kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqqfu9mIer21frg.html "Romanticide" live at Wacken 2013 (metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/rK6TmbF8c7TSiNY.html "Dead Boy's Poem" - live Buenos Aires 2018 (soulful ballad) kzread.info/dash/bejne/hWx5la5wl8qyfbA.html "Ghost River" live at Wacken 2013 (metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/YmmZy9adXainZqw.html "My Walden" live at Wembley 2015 (celtic / folk) kzread.info/dash/bejne/naKlx6txYJrAnLw.html "Sleeping Sun"live at Tampere 2015 (ballad) kzread.info/dash/bejne/pKej1s6zopzdfto.html "Stargazer" live at Tampere 2015 (operatic vocals / metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/gJx516OJidDFhco.html "Slaying The Dreamer" live at Buenos Aires 2018 (metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/qXVoltajkbObnpM.html "I Want My Tears Back" live at Buenos Aires 2018 (celtic / folk vibe) kzread.info/dash/bejne/dGWJzMmoqsivgLQ.html "Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean" live In Buenos Aires 2018 (metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/pmZq1MGvcby3YLQ.html "Weak Fantasy" live at Tampere 2015 (dark metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/c4JmlZuJktTImtI.html "7 Days To The Wolves" live at Wembley 2015 (dark metal) kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqqnyNl6gMW9iMY.html And if you want to hear Floor growling :) then try "Yours Is An Empty Hope" live at Wembley 2015 kzread.info/dash/bejne/qK2A1bdwgZaZY84.html Last but not the least - they just released their 9th studio album on April 10th named "Human :||: Nature" - just take a peek to their official playlist: kzread.info/head/PLihZ3gi5Yvzc0pfH2cbNKUUX8o3pb8eVg You can also react to Floor Jansen's performances in Beste Zangers 2019 (TV show from Netherlands), here is a playlist made by Floor herself (start listen it in reverse order..): kzread.info/head/PL8iSYWeQhlimgUnWw1FDdiJN0msPzqpLo Thank you! You just summoned the Nightwish Army!) Thank you for sharing your reaction and welcome to the world of Symphonic Metal! I hope you'll get better soon! The bull horn thing is a Wacken open-air logo ;) Well, you've just witnessed Her Majesty Northern Valkyrie Goddess Floor Jansen (pronounced Yansen, she is Dutch). Floor has classical background, rock academy behind, and used to be a vocal coach for a number of years. Floor is the most versatile and powerful female singer today and can sing anything from more pop-y style, classic opera, to metal screams and growls. Floor sings emotions, not words. Floor joined Nightwish in the middle of their Imaginaerum world tour in late 2012 (which includes this show from August 2013). Previous singer, Anette Olzon (she's currently in Dark Element) left the band while they were touring, and there was no certainty what to do with all the upcoming shows. They called Floor (her previous band did tour with NW in the past, and they knew each other). Floor flew immediately to help them out and temporarily replace Anette for the rest of the world tour. She arrived two days before the next show, and she had only 48 hours to learn the entire setlist. And she did. There is official documentary about all that -- "PLEASE LEARN THE SETLIST IN 48 HOURS" ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJx52s2mh66zdbg.html ) For Floor it was first really big gig with Nightwish, 82K people, at the time she was only for a few months with the band. After the world tour (in October 2013), they made Floor their official member. This song was performed at the end of 90min show, at the 1hr 10min mark. Nightwish formed in '96 in Finland, initially with Tarja (Tar-ya) Turunen as a vocalist. She left the band in 2005, and Anette Olzon stepped in, until 2012. The bassist with a cool beard is Marco, and he sings some parts too. He has his own solo project outside the Nightwish. The mastermind behind 99% of lyrics and music is a keyboardist Tuomas. Guitarist name is Emppu, and the drummer in this show is Jukka (Yukka), but later he was replaced by Kai Hahto because of health issues. Flutes/uilleann pipes/guitar/vocals - Troy, he did not perform in this song. Nightwish is better live, always, so if live performance is available, go for it. In their performances, they often using recorded backtrack of a classical orchestra for their songs. They have very diverse music, from more light songs to epic scores like this, and to really heavy metal stuff. For the next step, I can suggest listening to: -- Storytime from the same Wacken 2013 live ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXWr1tyiZ7SZcs4.html ) -- for move heavy: Ghost River, Song Of Myself, both from Wacken 2013 also ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXWr1tyiZ7SZcs4.html ) ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/lXWr1tyiZ7SZcs4.html ) -- If you want to explore more Floor versatility, check out her performances on a TV show Beste Zangers in 2019: (Lady Gaga's Shallow for ex.) kzread.info/dash/bejne/f2ps0sdtkcKfqs4.html You just starting your journey with Nightwish, and be prepared to be surprised (and sometimes shocked) time and time again! Their music is very emotional and diverse. Btw, Nightwish released their new album in April -- Human. :||: Nature. Greetings from Moscow! ;) Looking forward to seeing more NW on your channel!

You found one of the most amazing bands in the world. You will continue to be blown away. As for the copyright, from what I have read, you need to make your pauses longer. Perhaps take 15 or 20 seconds of discussion then rewind about 5 seconds. That is pretty common and we are used to it. As for other songs from Nightwish, I would start with Storytime and Song of Myself from this same concert. I'm sure the Nightwish Army will have a bunch more recommendations, but having watched some of your other reviews, I think those are a great place to start. Hope you are feeling better!

I'm old have seen just about every major act of the last 50 years in Rock / Hard Rock / Metal not to mention a ton of country. I knew you would pause at the end at the wrong time. The last minute or so of this performance should be listened to straight through to get the full effect but your brief pauses allowed us to see how excited you were getting. You really should do some more Nightwish ... Storytime (from the same 2013 Wacken Festival recording), Romanticide (Wacken as well), Yours Is An Empty Hope (Wembley live)

Female fronted symphonic metal genre!! Nothing to do with Amy Lee - although a good voice and a beautiful girl. Hail to the queen of metal- Floor Jansen!!! Amazing range, versatility, powerfull voice and stage presence, and a great lady. She fits so good in this band, where Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboardist, composer of most of the song, and one of the last 2 founding member (alongside Emppu, the guitarist) is considered to be the metal Mozart. Add Marko Hietala, the bassist, great vocalist, who also brings a powerfull stage present. And then multiinstrumentalist Troy, and great drummers ( either Jukka or Kay Hahto) and you will have 6 very talented musicians in one of the greatest group ever. And Floor Jansen is something else. The vibes put u in those moods where only the greatest can send u. Aretha Franklin, and Janis Joplin, and Nina Simone, and Joe Cocker or male metal singers like Eric Adams, Bruce Dickinson, Michael Kiske, James LaBrie, Dio or David Gilmour. This lady sends the pop divas back to school.

But if you like Ghost Love Score, I highly recommend watching the entirety of this concert -- and you'll see three things: 1) Why Floor Jansen is the best female vocalist in the world. 2) Why Ghost Love Score is so special. 3) Why I, in my humble opinion, believe this concert to be the _best concert ever recorded._ Hands-down, bar none. By the way, the orchestral sound? It's why Nightwish is a symphonic metal band -- because an entire symphony has _all the instruments,_ from strings like violins and cellos, to woodwinds (saxophone, clarinet) to brass (trumpet, trombone, baritone). All that sound, when added together, can make music that encompasses the entirety of human emotion. No joke.

@@GitanaAdelle Wouldn't call myself a fan of Nightwish, as such, as only really heard this track myself a few months back (interesting side of working from home is I am listening to a lot more music), but hit me as a fantastically talented band, and what a performance . Have watched a number of reactions around this performance, and generally people relate it to Lord of the Rings or something of that nature, but had always thought, as you did, it was very Celtic sounding. Would imagine you have probably had a number of requests to listen to Tool also, and if you dont know them already, then would say give them a whirl, as again, only stumbled on them recently, and very talented.

If you've never heard the band Within Temptation I would highly suggest you check them out as well. "Mother Earth", "supernova" and "memories" would be good songs to start with from them.

Im sure some eager beavers have told you allready, but Nightwish doesnt really copyright claim or strike theese days. I have to be honest though, just a few years back in time you would barely see any content of theyrs on YT at all. They seemed abit like Prince on that matter, guarded theyr content with everything they had. But there has been a huge turnaround, they started releasing both earlier and newer music videos,as well as live performances on KZread. And ever since reactors started giving them alot of PR through theyr videos,Nightwish has experienced a major BOOM in merchandise sales,as well as theyr music seelling really well. So they have learned a lesson......that KZread and Reaction channels are theyr biggest allies. Thats also why you see alot of Nightwish Army supporters suggest numberous of songs from them, because they know Nightwish doesnt hurt the channels. You might face a copyright claim for the performance at Wembley Stadium, for The Poet And The Pendulum. I have heard feedback that some might get it,some might not. And that can be from the owners of Wembley or something along thoose lines, for all i know. But i know, better be safe then sorry :) But overall,Nightwish doesnt hit you as rapidly as certain other bands do. I have heard from various reactors that Led Zeppelin strikes you pretty fast and consistent,to name one band. (That can be the record company/management,and not the actual band....but still) I guess Nightwish also has choosen to not be so strict about it,because they originate from Finland. Not the biggest country in the world, and bands from the Nordic countries often work hard over several years, before they even have a international breakthrough. I guess they are forever grateful for KZread being a solid "promoter" for them worldwide. They were fairly popular around when the original singer Tarja were still around, but they admit to having blown up quite abit after Floor Jansen joined in late 2012,they announced her properly for the world in 2013 at this very concert,Wacken Open Air 2013. Now you know my guiltry pleasure.....she has been my sin (Nightwish song pun and reference) since i first saw her *cough cough cough* well,AND heard her sing! And its funny you are reacting to Nightwish now, after i have seen a few Angelina Jordan videos. Because thoose 2 are the only females that has had me jawdropped, teary eyed....you name it. They are storytellers beyond any other vocalists i have heard, and they both have voices i cannot have enough of! Here is a funfact on how much of a impact Floor Jansen did on this song. (Originally performed by Tarja Turunen, then by Anette Olzon) After this concert, the Nightwish Army renamed the song: Ghost Love Floor. I just read your comment below......it got copyrighted?! Wow,thats a first in quite some time i have heard feedback on anything from Wacken 2013 being copyrighted. Hopefully just a claim and not a strike then..... Claims dont do much other then the record company wanting revenue for the musical content, the more views it gets the more eager they get lol. Strikes are the big bad wolves ;/ 9:21 Floor is up for grabs, and this is how you react?🤣🤣Im just messing,i liked that reaction. Just when you think you know what Floor can bring to the table, she will change it up on you. Dont you think she wont!🤣Tuomas the composer and songwriter at keyboards&piano is inspired by tons of different things. Celtic music,Viking music, basically any type of native people music/sounds,the list is longer then my essay comment. This was Floors first big test after she had finally joined on a permanent basis, big production, released on double CD/DVD and CD/BluRay,and im sure it aired on TV as well. Marco had the honor of introducing her as theyr new unbeatable force on vocals. They had prior to this worked alot on getting her stage confidence back, after she had prior to this been recovering from a "burnt out state of mind",for a longer period of time. So im sure she felt she had alot to prove, some big shoes to fill (especially winning over old supporters that loved Tarja) The rest is history, she left everyone speechless. And the band played theyr best concert ever! Thats why i say that every song from this concert,is legendary in quality. And that the concert in itself is quite possibly the absolute best i have ever seen. And im a childhood supporter of some really big bands and artists out there.12:35 Achievement Unlocked: You have been Floor`d! What you will learn fairly quickly as you dive deeper into the world and history of Nightwish,is that Floor is soo much more then a hypnotizing, unbeatable voice. She came in and brought complete harmony to a band that has had a rough history with vocalists, that somewhat never were a part of the actual band. Mentally speaking, and you could see it in the guys`s faces, never really alot of smiles. Just focused, professional faces that had a job to do. Now,they are all smiles. Chemistry has never been better, wich tells you how much of a sweetheart and a wonderful person Floor is on top of it all. And for being in my opinion the best vocalist out there, she has a really humble, down to earth personality. Never any diva moments, not even remotely close. But she doesnt take crap though,if you are a male screaming some disrespectful nonsence to her as a female. She will most likely call you out.... Absolutely love her!😍

This is an amazing song showing off some of the stuff that Floor can do for sure. "I was getting a bit of everything". Welcome in the Nightwish world where no 2 songs sound alike. The genre is called Symphonic Metal, but I don't like it when people put them in that narrow box, it is so much more. Also... Nightwish Army (fanbase) isn't that happy when you compare Floor, singer of NW and our Dutch Valkerie, with another singer with initials A.L., which you didn't do. If you follow the path of Nightwish you will for yourself find out that Floor is so much more versatile than "you know who". Don't get me wrong, I find A.L. a gifted singer but she's has less dimensions than our Floor. A good second song to react to is "Romanticide", if you like it a little heavier. Or "Song of Myself". I leave the rest of the comment to the soldiers of the NW Army, who are definitely on their way. About copyright.. as far as I know there is only one song that is copyrighted due to a german rapper who "claimed" a part of the song, "Poet and the Pendulum". And by the way, it's too early for that one, it is better you do other NW songs first. It was an awesome reaction and I hope you do more NW. I give you a big virtual hug and I hope you will be better soon.

It's a bit Celtic - I've been jagged out listening to reactions to this performance over the past 3 weeks and you are the first to pick up on that Celtic riff. There is also one short verse where she sounds like Heart with her vocalization. But I will say this - you're just like all the rest who for some unknown reason HAS to pause in the middle of the last verse as she's building toward her final belt. Sort of like when you're building toward an orgasm (a Floorgasm in this instance) and your hubby withdraws to talk about the sour milk in the fridge. Brilliant. And yes, I know why you pause, just can't believe where you choose to pause. Wouldn't it be better to videotape yourself sitting through the entire song first without pausing then go back and pick your pause spots where it fits into the performance and insert your comments there? And yes - she's a master of her considerable instrument.
