His grandkid probably has “the Michigan” language certificate and he probably helped pay for the language course.

@@s.j.6703 So sorry for your loss...my dad passed in 2017 and it feels like yesterday. He was 93. Mom passed early at 60 in 1987........feels like forever and yesterday.. sending hugs.

This made me realize I have almost always flown alone, except for 1 time. It’s pretty unique that Kara and Nate have managed their journeys together most of the time.

I just finished watching through all of your videos after a few months of lockdown in my country New Zealand. It's been wonderful to watch both of you grow so much over the years of traveling, and this solo flight is just another step. It's inspiring to see you both become more confident and comfortable throughout your travels and your video quality continue to improve. Great job capturing it all solo for the first time! My girlfriend and I have decided to try to vlog our future travels too. One suggestion I have is to split up your "watch from the beginning" playlist as scrolling through hundreds of videos on the list to get back to where I was up to viewing was time consuming. Having a playlist for each year would make it much easier to get back into each time someone wants to watch.

I love the fact that even after travelling together full time for so long you guys are still madly in love and crazy about each other. Love your videos. ❤️

Kara is honestly the reason I watch this channel. When she cries my heart breaks a little bit.

Awww, I can just imagine how strange it was to travel solo. I used to love flying by myself as a teenager, but I'm afraid of flying now and I don't know that I could do it alone without having a panic attack. Last time I flew was a year and a half ago with my husband from Orlando to Puerto Rico and that was scary enough. You did great, Kara. Proud of you, girl!

My first time flying/traveling alone was when I was 19 years old been married for 6 months and I was going to visit my husband in his job training for the army. I got stuck an airport and had to find a last minute hotel it was a horrible experience but getting to see my husband for the first time in 6 months really made up for it ❤️

You did great Kara! It's a growth experience even for you, no matter how much you traveled, you need to do it yourself, by yourself. I'm proud of you. I really liked this vlog.

I almost cried and was in tears seeing this video and I as a viewer have been watching Kara & Nate for so long that even I felt the emotion swell within me. Impeccably great videos you both make our world a better place to live!❤️❤️

I love seeing you branch out and be independent, even though you miss Nate so much. It reminded me of when you started driving the van on your own in CO. I'm super single and, while I do have people I enjoy vacationing with, I love traveling on my own.

VIP lounges, business class seats, seems to be a good way to travel by oneself. Yep I know haven't been apart in 6 years. Been 43 for us and wife just spent a week apart with girlfriends at the beach. No tears. Just happy she enjoyed her time and enjoyed the reunion. Time to stop shedding tears. You live a life many can't afford. Enjoy it.

Loved watching your first flight! I recently got to experience my "first" solo flight again but this time as a wheelchair user! It felt a bit scary to fly by myself as a wheelchair user but the flight attendants and gate staff were amazing and so helpful!

I get traveling along last year I traveled to Ireland with my two best friends at 15! As soon as I lost sight of my parents I started crying immediately, I had never been away from my mom then more than a day or two. Also loved the new bathroom confessionals.😂❤️

I remember signing up for fare drop when it first came out and Testimonial: It helped my friend and I afford a trip to Boston for 250$ round trip from LA! Glad to hear it's doing well. Great ride

It's okay to be sad for leaving him for a few days. I remember the first time my husband left for work and, while it was just a short trip, it felt like a lifetime and I was a mess! Now we're currently 8 months and counting without seeing each other. You did amazing girl! It also goes to show you, that we are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for.

Out of the many KZreadrs out there, I love your channel because of how genuine, sweet, curious, and goal driven you both are. Side note: I flew by myself when I was only 11, and traveled alone just before Covid hit. I would consider myself to be more like Nate when it comes to navigating around, but I have to agree it can be lonely and the worst part is having to awkwardly sit next to a stranger.
