A lot of "weirder" or "odd" songs from SM are totally performance songs that NEED to be witnessed LIVE

True, those are the SMTown/Concert Tours type of songs. SM groups arent known of being great in overall performance for nothing. 💓

“He is once in a generation type of performer”. I couldn’t agree more, Jeff. That’s what Kai is for most of us. I’ve seen EXO in Exploration Manila and I get what you mean about Suho. I was telling all my friends that he literally shined on-stage. And saw him again in Dubai and yep he is still as handsome as ever!

Super Junior was my first SM stan. The newer SM Kpop fans are missing out by not knowing their group & solo projects.

The song that D.O has sung is a song that was released before he was enlisted in the military, the title is THAT'S OKAY. A very famous healing song in Korea and internationally👌

I know exactly how you feel about Kai. I’ve seen him recently in London, in the Hallyupopfest and I still can’t believe I’ve seen him live. He owned the stage and the audience. His aura is out of this world. But in the same time when he doesn’t perform and only talks to the audience, his humble personality comes across. He is a beautiful person inside out. ❤️

As a SM stan for 15 years (still counting!), started as a Cassiopeia (TVXQ’s fanclub) and then to being an EXO-L and now NCTzen! Glad to see you enjoyed SMTOWN and is able to see a lot of them LIVE and discovered a lot of new side of the artists! Thanks for sharing your experience with us too 🙌 Witnessing more than half of the groups’ debut and sticking with this company since 2nd gen, I just can’t stop loving SMTOWN artists. I guess I’m staying in KWANGYA for the rest of my life！😎

@@RubyJane701_ mine started with TVXQ..I listened to BOA too! I wouldn't compare amongst SM artists as they all have their own charisma. For me, KPOP definition is always Girls Generation. I end up loving all the groups until the maknae, Aespa! I literally going to stay in Kwangya no matter what people say😂. I just like their sounds and image. I love and listen to EXO songs the most but in general, I enjoy every group concept until today. Always refreshing to see them still maintaining their sound over time. We grow watching them grow as an artist as well as the concept evolve according to the time (age of the member). It's like living in fantasy 😂

I always say that Suho looks like a legit prince, he has so many aristocratic traits in his face, seriously. Kai and Suho have a different feel to their beauty, I won't go too deep, but I definitely get your feeling. And I often hear that camera never does justice to how handsome the boys are in reality... I read some comments from KNets that said how the SM concert became Super Show concert when suju performing with audience from different fandoms doing fanchants to the Sorry2 n Bonamana songs. Even non suju fans wanted to attend Super Show after witnessing their energy n stage presence. Fr, any kpop fans need to experience SuShow at least once. Suju is having a world tour now, I can't wait to go to SS9.

all the EXO solos, Taeyeon, SHINee and NCT/WayV stages really made me go insane,, i wish i could've seen them irl so bad

as a super junior fan they handle music shows and concert the same they give the audience the attention and 2nd the dance and vocals . another thing their slower songs are full of emotions they want you to feel so the vocals come after the feeling . bc if you dont speak korean and not a fan they need to pull your emotions for you to join the stage . all the concert i went through super show still the best . suju doesnt use that much swag that is why they are a hidden beast . a fluffy goofy one

Just to help you understand the song choice for D.O. - 'That's Okay' is a legendary song of his. It's SO beloved among Koreans and int. fans alike that it was no surprise at all he sang it. But it's one of those songs you can only appreciate live if you already know it - the lyrics, the meaning and all that. :)

I guess D.O fans would recognise the song right away coz it's a personal song and even other KPOP artists have done covers of it and ❤️ the song too. This reminds me of that video with Doyoung snitching on Mark to D.O that he sings the song athousand times a day is just too funny 🤣

Yes, it's the song that everybody's waiting for the see him sing it live, because the song is so loved not just by the fans, but also loved by so many KPop artist and Korean people too, they said it''s a healing song. More than 200 KPop artist already cover the song ❤️

I agree with what you said about Suho, when I saw him in Manila a few years back. Literally the man was glowing.

You should check Super Junior live performance. They're insane. Their concert is a-must-watch concert for once in a lifetime.

God, the things I'd do to see EXO this up close😩 suho visuals are out of this world fr for d.o rose would've been so fun for the concert but sm made him sing his station song called that's ok that he released before his enlistment it's understandable since the song went huge in Korea among gp and idols as well but like he has a whole fcking album that he never performed a single song from it😞 anyways his little adorable mistake made up for us. For Chen I really envy anyone listened to Chen live like that's one of my bucket list😭😭 Xiumin stage was so beautiful it's one of the bsides from his upcoming album pls tune in for it😊 and for Kai I actually believe you'd see him again in one of the festival he's been doing and you could enjoy a longer performance of him and see mmmh as well❤️

@@dabdoob1992 i watched a reaction to D.O.'s performance. The reactor is a singer and a huge fan of D.O. He said that during the performance, he can hear that D.O.'s voice show that he was very tired. He's vocals are on point' but he sounds tired. Maybe because of filming? I don't know. And then i think It's the right choice for him to sing That's Okay, so he can rest a bit from filming and sing a healing song. And from what I saw in many footage, everybody love him and his performance. I mean everybody. But i'm still craving for him singing every song from his album, live.

I can relate so much to everything you said about Kai. I recently saw him in London and experienced the same situation. I couldn't absorb what I was seeing, my eyes and senses weren't enough. Born to own the stage. So happy you enjoyed the concert so much!

“Taeyong looks unfckin’ real.” This is exactly my same thought when I first saw him in real life. He’s just tooo good looking for god sake!

D.O.'s song is That's Okay, his "enlistment" song. It's very popular in Korea and even among idols. And Kyungsoo is known for being a minimalist and that stage was not a surprise for us fans. But yeah, I was hoping he'd finally perform any of his songs from his album, which we never really have till this day. Still, he did great, very adorable.

fr i was so surprise when i watched Resonance on screen, it was soo good on screen, what more off screen live 😭 actually, i didnt appreciate that "song" not until that performance in smtown 😫😫 it was better than i expected it in the concert. after watching it, i was like, "NCT need to have an all nct members concert and performed this freaking "song" again!!!"

Yessss KEY is amazing!!!! He is so so so underrated for how good he is! Literally an ACE! also u didnt mention minho but from experiences, those who attend shinee concerts always say minho stand out! He is just so engaging and interacts with the audience a lot. It used to be a thing that if u attend shinee concerts, u will come out as minho biased.

i've seen suho & sehun walked right in front of me just less than 2m away (and not on stage), so yeah i know what you mean about suho. but i feel the most head-turner one is actually chen. obviously he's gorgeous on screen, but off screen, sooo striking. now i need to see my shinee boys irl 😭😭😭

WayV haven't actually had a big stage yet anywhere since they debuted. The biggest stage before this smtown suwon was probably MAMA 2019. Then pandemic hit and here we are. They'll be in tokyo dome this weekend and I am honestly just so emotional and my heart feels so warm for them because they deserve these BIG BIG stages really.

*The "big" stages they had were mostly in China and of less capacity than this smtown suwon of 30k capacity.

I'm literally trying to like your video for the 10th time as I'm watching, after each sentence I agree with 🤣 Kai is my ultimate artist, and seeing someone having the same thoughts with me (he's once in a generation type of performer, and it's a privilege to see him live)... I'm just 🥲

I was at KCON but was just up on Twitter feed for SM Town concert all day!!! When I finally saw 5dream on the red carpet... it was surreal... then Chenle made eye contact with me and it was over. I was wrecked. At the concert... I would say they were the group that felt the most relax.

Jeff missed 6 songs of kai live on hallyupopfest london and got 1 song instead 🥲 but i'm so happy finally you made it seeing him live!

The key praise got me.. I HOPE EVERYONE CHECKS OUT GASOLINE ALBUM ON 30/8

That's exactly why I love Key so much. He gives his all on stage and he knows what he is doing. I don't know why he is still underrated. His solo albums are no skip albums. Even my friends, who are not into Kpop love to listen to his latest release.

Hi, his album is really no skip, but the song he sang - "That's okay", is not on the album. It's a single and it was released on the day he enlisted, and they posted a live performance the same day he was released from the military. Last Saturday, on SMTOWN is the one and only time we hear it live. And it was a blessing, right? Btw, initially I wanted to hear "Rose" too, but I think they made the right choice this time.
