You're absolutely right. An orgasm can definitely be a spiritual experience. So can a group or collective orgasm - regardless of gender, body type, or sexual orientation. Almost everything can be a spiritual practice - depending on the level of intentionality and awareness we bring. :)

Thanks for the questions & reflections. I appreciate you taking the time to share. I did go through a period of time where I was very interested in going to parties like this, but I’m not in that phase anymore. I’m much more interested in just one on one sex or threesome scenarios. There’s just a lot more depth and less chaos in those scenarios. I’ve actually only had penetrative sex once at a party out of all the sex parties I’ve been to. Usually there’s so much going on that it’s overwhelming to my system and full on penetrative sex isn’t as exciting for me. I’m open to that changing at some point, but that’s where I am now. I do think that these parties can be great and meaningful ways for people to connect and experience pleasure. And with that in mind, I’m all for people exploring whatever sexual & intimate things they want to - as long as there’s consent & communication. 🕺

It is very interesting reading all that from you cause it goes so much against some of the expectations that come up when listening to you, man and I love that! Just listened to the second sex party episode and I get what you mean. Don't know if it's something for me, but it sounds marvelous and I am so happy for you that it helped you in the way it did.

good pod cast can you make something about celibacy as well because larger crowd choose to live a marriage life, and very few with celibacy, can you tell spiritually what the celibacy is and how to practice it, is it possible to be celibate.

What a great show. I am in my 50's and I think I would have loved to attend such a party. Remember, there is no beginning to the beginning. Nobody technically is older or younger then anyone else in the spirit. At 20, your shelf was broken by a 60 year old having sex. At 52, I am amazed when I hear someone saying they can't or shouldn't do it if they want to.They are still themselves and are beautiful! Holy!

I think the ppl being in their 50s speaks to how experienced and free they’ve become sexually over the years. They were probably the flower children of the 70s that simply believe in free expression of sexuality. They could have been nudist at some point in their lives so being naked wasn’t a shameful thing. As a gay man we tend to experience group sex a lot more than straight ppl so “sex parties” aren’t foreign to us. This was a great conversation. 👍🏾

As a gay man, I was thinking the same thing... sex parties are quite common for us, so if you want to participate in one, it's fairly easy to find one and join in. For straights, it's very different, I suspect.

You equate. Ppl in their 50s as flower child's of the 70s? As a gay man in his 50s, I'm thinking you are off by a couple decades. Though my sexual awakening didn't happen until I was almost 20, none of the nudity you referred to was common among my generation. Think of us as the ones that grew up dancing to Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator" when they first came out. Our 20s were in the 90s when Madonna and Michael Jackson both fondled themselves onstage during concerts. Can't imagine why we're so comfortable in our sexual bodies, lol. Definitely not flower children.

This is generalizing. Not every homosexual man is into sex parties. This is not a "homosexual thing" this is more your thing and men who are into this lifestyle. I notice straight males and flamboyant gay males are very alike. While masculine homosexual men, lesbian women and straight women are more different

I think plant medicines, when used with intention, can be great ways to learn valuable lessons we wouldn't otherwise be able to learn. Weed and meditation can be a beautiful experience. I think plant medicine can help us go deeper into the experience of life... but I also believe that relying on plant medicines to experience the magic of life would be a problem. Lots of people do this, and I think they're actually creating problems for themselves.

Here's a blindspot straight men have that I, as a gay man, don't understand: A lot of straight men love "open" relationships, group sex, threesomes with two women, etc, and a lot of them cheat without feeling much guilt... but very very few want a wife or partner who feels the same way. Can someone explain the hypocrisy behind that mindset?

As a female I was just thinking this to myself and then I read this comment. All my serious boyfriends have been very against any fantasy talk or possibility of a threesome with another man, but yet all are fine with the idea of another woman or lesbian fantasy talk(even though cautious at first in case I might be testing them)... I'm usually very selective about my partners and go for the stable nice guy types who are also monogamous and not up for any open relationship.. They have also been kinda insecure I guess. I used to wonder if they were just saying that because they thought I was testing them( some men tend to pussy foot around a females sometimes telling them what they want to here lol) but no matter how it was framed they were just very against it.

I also read that some gay men are more like women in this respect, even though they share many other sexual traits in common with straight men, such as interest in casual sex, arousal patterns and being more visually stimulated than emotionally. Gay men are female-typical in some traits and in others completely male-typical because some areas in their brains are similar to straight women, and lesbians have some similarities to straight men. Which makes them pretty diverse. It's like males and females brains are organised and developed differently by biological processes and evolution and different levels of exposure to prenatal hormones, but at certain times a gay male is exposed to less testosterone than a typical male so some brain circuits, structures and functions develop in a more female-typical direction and lesbians are exposed to higher levels of testosterone than a typical female and some of their brain circuits, structures and functions develop in a more male-typical direction.

Also a flamboyant gay men and a feminine straight women are way different, they're femininity and their behavior is totally different. As a masculine homosexual man I notice this. Flamboyant gay males are still visual like men and their femininity is more like how a straight man will mock a woman - while straight women are more emotional, also visual but not as much and they're femininity is more "normal" can't find a word to explain it

Sex parties can definitely make us think more deeply about sex and love... and they can be a lot of fun too. And... they're not for everyone.
