What settings you think is better at night ?

The headlight definitely sucks. I'd be fixing that before you ride at night again, especially at the speeds you were going. All it would take is one pothole or taking a corner and hitting water, and the bike goes down.

I recently bought a Gasgas Moto1 FatBike, they come with a 750W Bafang and I plan to upgrade to a similar setup to yours, 3000W HubWheel with a 31.5AH battery and your videos really help me move forward, many thanks

Still rocking the NBPower 3000w kit on my X-Class. I blew 3 screens with the regen though since there's no safety settings. Had to drop it fairly low and make sure not to regen above 40 to keep from blowing another one. You should leave the 60 FPS videos for the daytime since you will get less light at higher framerates.

I was about to build a crazy high volt, 300A peak current, 8,000W eBike but somehow in the process of sourcing the parts and taking measurements I bought a King Song S16 Pro EUC. So my bike build is on hold for now. But I'm excited to learn a new skill!

The regen will not start working until your volts drop to 80-81 volts. This is so the battery is not over charging.

I would love to see a kit tutorial for peddle electric bikes.

I'm in Phoenix AZ, and I basically only ride between 4:30-6am.

A chain derailleur is what you need for your loose chain since it's a multispeed. Or just a chain tensioner if it's a single speed.

The 60fps looks great. Are the lights higher maybe because the stock wheel being taller than the street wheel in the back? Maybe once you change the front wheel it will come down some.

Great video as always and congrats on the first DRT 72V build. Do you regret going with a 3000W compared to the 5000W? Curious what you think about the power difference

The power difference is hard to calculate due to the controller being 80amps compared to my 100amp setup. Also, my settings for throttle acceleration in ms are low on my street one. Low = faster power curve. I haven't fully finished this in tweaking. Once I get the 150amp controller, we'll see how well it performs then. Biggest difference is 3000w vs 5000w is the 3000w will heat up faster. And can't handle as much peak power for long. It needs heat sinks for sure.

if you use the stock motor on the front and add some torque washers and plates for safety I think the screen will not turn off, and its still a decently powerful motor so u get awd. would u do that or too much work lol. Nice video

Drt uses a thru axle. Wouldn't work. Also the rear dropout is much bigger than the front

What is the name of the app that you used for the speed ?

Hit a pothole at 20mph on a night to me ride, not having proper lighting on a One Wheel, 6 months of rehab for a rotator cuff tear. I still love One Wheels, but I also now equally love proper lighting. Be careful out there so you can keep making videos!

Bike wouldn't have a problem hitting a pothole at 20mph. One wheel yes ive seen a few guys here fall at 5mph because a dip in the grass

​@@MrCentralDriveryou got the wrong focus, could be a deer not a pothole. The critical point here is how important lighting is, and even with good lights don't outride them.

Nice bike and quick as hell. Just one question, why is it so dark? The headlight cannot even be seen on the roadway in front of you. Is it the camera adjustment or is it just a bad headlight? Maybe need an aftermarket headlight or supplemental one? Good video and build anyway. Cheers!

First time trying 60fps at night. Doesn't let alot of light in the camera. First time trying to as well. Gonna bump up the iso and try again.

About your headlight. Can you just get 2 longer top screws so you can add shims behind the light to angle it down?

2600 for the bike. 800 for the motor, display and controller. Storage cage 100. That's all you need. The misc stuff is if u wanna go thumb throttle 20bucks. Zip ties 5bucks. Misc bolts and washers 10bucks. The battery I have cost 1900. You can always look for other batteries that have at least a 100amp bms. So around 5500

The headlight aim is really bad. Is there an adjustment?

That was in May. I pay for full self driving. It's like 99bucks a month. I haven’t heard of free the whole year

is this motor faster than your 5000 watt? because your 5000w bike maxes out at 50 and with the 3000watt you're over 54, or why is that?

Slightly taller tire than the last build. Also lighter bike as well. Last bike did 52mph i actually hit 55mph max on it and 50mph once the battery went down to 75-80% which this does the samething.

Bro, you need to upgrade that headlight.. idc if you need to buy a small battery just to power the headlight.. I'm sure it's worse on video, but I can't see anything.. so I know you "barely" see the road at best.

Lol you ride like a kid, cmon man follow the rules of the road, turning no signals, running red lights.. 50mph in bike lane? giving this hobby a bad name, the biggest downfall to this hobby is how many people ride recklessly. You ride like that it will get impounded.

I don't see one Pedestrian or vehicle that I bothered. No car should be in the bike lane. Also, the bike has no turn signals. More unsafe to hold your hand out when going the speeds i was.. The red lights I went through are when there is no street on the right-hand side of me. Bikes are clear to Travel through, because nobody should be riding straight to a street that isn't even there, lol
