Such a good story - when my wife and I first moved to NYC as photo assistants, we walked from our apartment in Park Slope to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden to take pictures of flowers. My wife Chelsea tasked me to pack up her camera before we left. Upon arrival to the garden, I realized I left her camera battery in the charger back at the apartment. Advice for newcomers: The reason pro photographers are so picky about assistants being so flawlessly professional is because they don't want to hire anyone who does the same shit the photographers did when they were new. Waka waka.
