My mom never let me speak English at home because she would always say I would loss my Spanish if I only spoke English. Now that I no longer live with her I started realizing that my Spanish is slowly fading away. So I started watching Telenovela’s and TV programs in Spanish on Netflix and it’s helped me maintain my Spanish and even expand my vocabulary. I would highly recommend to try it out !

Also, you’re right about mascara, we use that word in Spanish like a face mask or mascara but it’s better to call it rímel, also highlighter is iluminador! Loved it, please do more of those, can you imagine filming a Spanish video while being drunk?? Girl you’ll kill it!! 🥰🥰🥰

I’m half Mexican and not everyone in my household uses Spanish, so it’s true - you don’t use it, you lose it. 😞 It makes me embarrassed because others don’t view me as “Mexican enough” because I don’t speak Spanish. I understand everything, but when it comes to speaking it, I’m not as strong and get embarrassed to make a mistake, so I don’t speak it as much. So thank you for making this! We’re Latinas and Mexicanas because it’s in our fucking DNA! Doesn’t matter if you know any or no Spanish because you can’t change what’s in our blood. And I’m proud af to be Mexicana! 💕

Girl you do you! I am bilingual Spanish and I even still get the not enough. I've been told I'm not Mexican enough because I wasn't born in Mexico. I gotten it every time I visit family in Mexico. For some people we will never be enough. We have to confident in ourselves and be proud of who we are.

Florencia M.W She sounds way moe natural speaking than some other Latina KZreadrs I’m not gonna mention the names of who clearly has a latin label/bran when it comes to who they are, yet their Spanish isn’t as good as this. Sure it wasn’t perfect, pero she sounded quite fluid when she spoke. Love it! More🙏🏾😍😍😍 Glad she finally does one in Spanish, as I know many regardless of ethnicity who doesn’t dare to speak if their 2nd language as they feel its not good enough. Only way to get better is to actually speak😉
