HELLOO! I'm finally back with a new video. I know I've had a few new subscribers since I last uploaded so welcome! I also know some of you are from my video: How I became a software developer ..( • Changing jobs: How I b... ) SO I thought I would upload a new video explaining how my first job experience was like as a software developer. There was a lot of good...a lot of bad but all worth the journey in the end.

    A company not making payroll is a red line that means LEAVE ASAP. The only exception is *MAYBE* if the missed payroll is due to poor organizational skill, and not lack of money.

    Hi :) I have a similar story to you (completed a degree in kinesiology) and now intrigued by the tech industry but have no experience at all except for KZread coding courses. I was wondering if you think the bootcamps are worth? Did everyone else you graduate with at the boot camp get jobs aswell? My worry is that I won’t be able to find a job as it is not considered a degree

  • @gesseekur

    @gesseekur

    4 жыл бұрын

    I believe boot camps are worth it. But you definitely only get out of it what you put in. Not sure everyone was able to find a job but all of my close friends from boot camp were able to. One advice I have is to create side projects to put on your resume to make up for that degree!

    "Don't work there, no matter how desperate you are." Says some guy who is already comfortably established in the industry. If you're desperate for food and rent, and have no other offers, you will (and should) take any job in your field, no matter how sh*tty.
