great video
I saw it in IMAX, amazing
Glad you enjoyed it pal That Cinema looks the dogs, Exactly how it should all clean and fresh with Neon lights, The age of Cinema is all about the experience from when you enter through those doors, You get what you pay for mate

Yeah I can imagine
Glad you enjoyed the Imax screen its my fave screen but have to confess i haven't been in a Screen X yet.
I had a 2 screen in Ewell which was amazing then a 6 screen in Sutton and a 9 screen in guildford which replaced the classic 4 screen that was there. then an 8 screen in epsom. Now a new 6 screen coming soon within walking distance to where I now live. Imax has always been a London visit. ❤️👀👌🤔😳👍👍👍
hey mate do more videos like this next time!! that was interesting veeerrry
Fantastic video, as always! Yes, i went to see Top Gun Maverick on my first viewing at Cineworld in 4DX and i can say that it was a fun experience, the seats do throw you about quite a lot but it's fun for a film like that. I can also say that i do click in at almost 18 stone, well over the restriction. At my cinema i never got questioned about it, there was no discomfort in the seat and i can not see why there would be for anyone really.
It was awesome in 4dx moving seats, wind, snow, rain just don't take popcorn in lol
4dx is great fun
Your reaction was the same to my reaction watching Oppenheimer in 70mm IMAX
That looked like an amazing Experience never been to see an IMAX movie but hopfully one day I will. Shame your mum nevber got to Experience the new cinama with you but from the sound of it maybey it might have been a bit too loud for her 😅
First film I saw in imax was the first avenger film, best film I've seen in imax is Dunkirk, when the spitfire came on all seats shook brilliant, however maverick wasn't shot in imax saw something on KZread about it ...
Loved your journey through Cinema, think it makes us all reflect on our own a bit! Great video!
What a great experience Paul. Looks so cool.😀👍
I’m spoiled in California, I have the Equire IMAX in Sacramento, another IMAX in Dublin, CA, and a massive 75foot tall by 97foot wide IMAX screen in San Francisco, and these are real IMAX theaters, not lieMax. Only thing that makes IMAX movies better in California is smoking a doobie before the movie.
I liked imax when I saw strange 2 in it, but imo it’s worth it when it’s like a £5 upcharge which it is when compared to cineworld normal prices, but compared to Vue when it’s about 4x as much as Vue it’s not worth it
Paul have you heard about the vip experience at fineworld can you try it in a video

I will be yes, and in 3D
Great video Big Pauly! I saw Top Gun Maverick in 4DX here in Texas. I traveled 3 1/2 hours to another city just to see the movie. I will say it was an amazing experience and perfect for the kind of movie it was. I highly recommend it. 👌🏼
Great reaction, my 1st experience of imax was the dark Knight, the screen x works similar to imax in the way that the side bits aren't on all the time if that makes sense
@BigPauly

I thought the ScreenX shows the film all down the sides for the whole film. That would be quite distracting if it just pops on during the film

Good video. Slightly over the top your mind would explode if you went to the imax at Waterloo 4dx is ok but Slightly distracting
So glad you enjoyed your first IMAX film. Really surprised you’ve not done it before. If a film is available in IMAX I will go it is incredible. I’ve said it before but out of the big cinema chains Cineworld do it the best and especially IMAX as they have to be calibrated by IMAX technicians.
Looks like a really nice cinema. I use to watch most films in IMAX especially if they are made for IMAX. I think Showcase at Bluewater have removed the IMAX for some reason.
Take your dad next time to get his reaction, that would be an awesome video, also this video was awesome 👏🏽
I've been to a IMAX theater like 25 years ago. My personal experience: TO BIG!!! I guess a lot of other viewers shared my opinion as our IMAX theater closed in 2006 ... I don't miss it at all! But if you enjoyed it: Yeah, I am happy for you! :-)

Wow a cinema screen could never be too big lol
Its not a format, that im bothered with. Though ive seen Guardians of the Galaxy, Metallica concert film and Wizard of Oz in Imax 3D.
Once you go IMAX you’ll never go back, my first IMAX film I saw was MAD MAX: FURY ROAD in 3D, incredible experience it was TOP GUN: MAVERICK is another fine 10/10 IMAX film.
IMAX Waterloo is even bigger
