The fans left thousand of sticky notes at his cafe and he was spotted reading it at night alone 😢 His waterfall album is basically what he felt during that time. Bobby the other rapper (purple hair in Killing Me, black/white hair in Bling Bling) in case you dont know has lots of solo stuff. He is a phenominal rapper, won SMTM when he was still a teenager. He can go hard and spit crazy but also does some really emotional lyrical raps which i love. He also released some iconic songs with Mino (rapper from Winner) under the name MOBB. What I love most about iKON discography is that they can do those fun and crazy HIpHop tracks but also do some super emotional songs too and the emotional songs always really get me. June (red hair in With YOU) has this raspy voice that always gets me in the feels. About your question on the different sound, they have put out a song without BI before they released this album (Why Why Why). The album was still a surprise. I loved it, at that time most bg released lots of shouty noise tracks but iKON released this retro synth pop song (yes ok... this trend has been done a lot too but for me never enough) wth those georgeous vocal lines....When DK does that bridge with that beautiful high note..pure bliss. I am still here supporting them and cant wait to see what they get up to under 143 Entertainment!

Love Scenario, Killing Me, and Goodbye Road were all part of a interconnected storyline BI wrote. Love Scenario is the break up. They realized they weren't good for each other and decided to call it quits; remembering it as a beautiful love scenario. Killing Me is the initial feelings you get after the break up. The denial, anger, jealousy, etc. All the emotions are killing you inside. Goodbye Road is saying goodbye to that love and finally moving on. BI is literally a writing genius. His lyrics are so beautiful and poetic. Anyways, you gotta react to iKON TV to get to know them more. It's arguably the best idol reality online series. iKON became my ult boy group thanks to that show. I pray we get ot7 moments now that iKON is free from YG.

It's absolutely no surprise that you immediately had to marathon some more. Members: You know B.I. Bobby: Rapper, vocalist, writer, producer - the one with purple hair in Killing Me and in the truck in But You Jinhwan (stage name Jay, aka Gnani or Jinani): Main vocal, lead dancer - the one with the fringy jacket in But You Donghyuk (Stage name DK): Main dancer, vocalist, writer, producer, stage director - the one you described as having the airy voice. Yes, it's him singing those high notes near the end of But You (He's onscreen at the same time) Song Yunhyeong (stage name Song): Vocalist - the one sitting under the basketball hoop in Killing Me Junhoe (stage name Jun-E or June): Main vocalist - "red hair" as you referred to him. Has one of the most unique voices in Kpop. Chanwoo (stage name Chan): vocalist, sub-rapper, maknae - the one in the cool jacket in But You, also in the car in Bling Bling, as you pointed out. Despite their 'positions', they are all excellent vocalists, and they are very involved in their production. "But You" was maybe a little surprising but only because their overall discography is SO diverse, and you never know what you are going to get. If you listen to the whole "Flashback" album, you will get a taste of several genres. They have toured extensively in Japan (and have many Japanese releases as well) but unfortunately have not toured much elsewhere. They did perform at a Kpop festival in LA this summer, and I had the pleasure of being able to see them there live. (Monsta X was supposed to be at the same festival, and I will never forgive the organizers for screwing up their visas and depriving me of the chance to see my top two groups at the same place) iKON did put on an online concert as part of their "Flashback" promotions. It was amazing. They are such great performers. I really hope they come back to North America very soon. Welcome to iKONIC (their fandom name)! I can't wait to see more of your reactions to them. @@marcogennuso I think you'll like it...iKON has so much chemistry because they've lived with each other since they were like 14,15 years old.... Those formative years.... They have a real brotherhood which really shows as they've all left YG at the same time.... They never want to be split again 😭 their LIVEs are super energetic and chaotic and you'll see some of that in Killing Verse.... Hope you can check out WIN Who is Next to see B.I's leadership and talent since the beginning and their bond.

Check out the whole album. You won't regret it or getting to know them. The members are all very humble,down to earth,true to themselves and very fan oriented but they group as a whole is very under rated. Catch their concerts- great fan service and they often bring a twist to their songs.

B.I leaving iKON was literally one of the worst things that has ever happened in KPop. Quite frankly, B.I might not have come back if it hadn't been for iKONIC never giving up on him. Also, not one of the members gave up on him, they still follow him on IG to this day. Most of us believe that Bobby was the rabbit in B.I's mv for illa illa too. If you really want to get to know iKON I would suggest watching from the beginning, 2014 Win Who's Next, the reality show when they competed as Team B against Team A, WINNER. That's when I became a fan and I have never regretted following one of the best groups to ever exist. Hopefully, now that they are free of YG's restrictions they will be able to really show us everything they've got. They registered the name "iKON" trademark change in 2021 with the new company, so it wasn't exactly overnight. It was just publically known overnight. I think you'd really enjoy Bobby's solo stuff but also, Ju-ne (our resident rock vocalist) has a great video of a song he wrote: BOBBY & JU-NE - '깊은 밤'. PS. In December 2018, B.I received the Songwriter of the Year award at the 10th Melon Music Awards for iKon's single "Love Scenario".

@@marcogennuso The lack of promotion that YG has done for iKON is notorious. There was a common meme about iKON being locked up in the basement of YG while all the focus was on Blackpink. Also, once B.I left and YG was indicted it's like the company just didn't know what to do with iKON. They mostly had them touring in Japan and didn't give Bobby time to promote his solos, which could have been much bigger. There's so much wrong with how YG manages artists...too much for a comment section. LOL The registration of trademark is a common behind the scenes action that groups/artists have really taken advantage of in the last few years. It tends to mean that a group is negotiating their current contract. So, iKON using this was probably the first step in negotiating when their contract was coming up for renewal.

You'd think the company who owns them would be the ones who've already had it trademarked from the beginning no?? It's crazy because YG seems to have this issue like you said and yet...they really know high production value. Both in terms of sounds and visuals. It's insane to me they are so good with that but are messy everywhere else? I don’t know, just an observation. I love Treasure and would hate to see them mismanaged in any way (Yedam and Mashiho leaving was enough!!)

@@marcogennuso now there's law in SK, companies are forced to turn or give back the credits (trademark etc) to artists/groups IF ONLY all group members are leaving the company. And in iKON' case, all the members left (not renewing their contract) so the trademarks are all theirs. Also, I guess it's also their negotiation skills honestly haha.

Never know you change the way your reacts at early Love senario 🤭🤭🤭 (I don't used to silence react from you.. 😂😂) I'm glad you don't react to triple killing heart broken song back to back from them 😌 (killing me is one of it) Blink Blink release after their excellent 1 year tours outside Korea just after their debut. There's a lot of great song from that album even some Korean fan boycott it because of lack promotion in Korea after their debut. The purple hair rapper is Bobby. He's popular rapper in Korea, been acknowledge by k-hiphop community after win Show Me The Money competition before his debut in iKON. BOBBY is B.I best friend and one of the 3 early/longest trainee in iKON. The overall sounds of iKON songs change a bit after B.I left (they released 2 MV songs which is Why Why Why and But You. For Flasback mini album, we can hear n felt different type of iKON sounds compared to when B.I with them) The question about why iKON manage to get new company for a short time is because: *iKON is one of original Monster Rookies and Grand Slam Rookies (because they win Rookie award in Korea, China and Japan after their debut.) I don't think nowdays rookies who win Monster Rookies had beat their records of win and achievement when debut. *Every member is talented *They are great in live performance (been participate in 4 to 5 survival show) *Company 143 owned by some of iKON producer before. So, that's good for iKON I think (I don't know this company but got this info from discussion in others YG video) Well, I hope you will react more of iKON. Their live concert performance is excellent. Try some awards show performance like MAMA, etc. 👍

I’m not even shitting you, iKON was milliseconds from becoming my ult kpop group & then B.I had to leave. I started stanning them just 2-3 months before he left. I had spent hours listening to their music, watching their music videos, watching the survival shows they were on, watching whatever KZread series they had made like iKON TV or when they had to travel with a Japanese girl group. I had developed such a love for them and then poof. YG did B.I dirty. B.I is responsible for the sound iKON has, and as much as I deeply love the rest of the members - their talent, their personalities - it just wasn’t the same. I’m not even saying that the group isn’t good without him. But it’s not better, and again, it’s just not the same. I sympathize with all the members and wish them the most happiness and success, but I was so heartbroken. All I wanted to do was give B.I a hug. Eventually B.I releases some solo stuff and some of it was so sad I wanted to cry. When illa illa came out I sobbed Also… B.I was my bias…. And of all the positions he had in the group he had to be the leader… like…

Non fan might not know how hard it is for us iKONICS( iKON fandom) when BI left the group. It’s devastating knowing these guys where not just a group of idols but more like a family of brothers.. and if it hard for us, what more for them. They have been through a lot even before BI left. They been bullied by the industry and misunderstood. And knowing now they left YG is somewhat sad but we know it’s for their good and self growth/ peace of mind i guess. But also i am happy as a fan knowing they kept their promise to us to stick together, they left YG as one. They are inseparable brothers indeed! Thanks for the reaction! ❤

Before iKon, they were Team B. Win: Who Is Next was a show where they pit two teams against each other. Team A consisted of 5 members and Team B had 6. Team A won and went on to become Winner. Team B members then had another show called Mix & Match with more candidates for the team and ended up with one more member to become iKon.

@@marcogennuso They were all trainees of YG Entertainment. At first it seemed like Team A were older, and Team B were younger. As the show goes on I kind of see why they were put together. Team A were more used to working alone, and they found their style/sound/rhythm as the show goes on. They didn't even have a leader in the beginning!! Team B had 3 members who had trained for even longer than Team A. The 3 older trainees guided the newer/younger ones and Team B as a whole were more cohesive than Team A. I was rooting for Team A but by the end I loved Team B just as much as I love Team A. You can watch the whole show on KZread. There are 10 or 11 episodes. It's entertaining enough that I have binged whole thing at least 3 times.

I fell in love with Bobby's album 'Love and Fall', he also has another favorite- Lucky Man. I laughed when you asked if the truck in But You was the same truck in Bling Bling, because I wondered if it was the same truck in Bobby's "U Mad" MV.🤣 In regards to the reception of But You by fans, I loved it--but I loved the whole album. But You gives me Stranger Things vibe. My sister who is not a K-pop fan, love this song. Lastly, you mentioned the airiness of DK's voice in 'But You'. Millenium is a YG producer, actually he is used to be a trainee to be a singer with Bang Yedam and the originally TEAM A, but he became a producer before YG Treasure box started. Thats why he is no longer in team A. The original team A were bang yedam, junkyu, reesung aka millenium and noa (now soloist in japan). And millenium is bestfriend with b.i and many YG artists

Gdragon also gave a song to iKON and to this day they are the only group/person to receive a song from him that’s not his team. iKON trends whenever they do performances because it’s like day and night with peoples energy. Traditionally seniors close concerts, well iKON have been closing since debut. They are top 3 of groups everyone wants to see live in universities. Btw the one you mention with a great voice is Junhoe/JU-NE, he’s one of the main vocalist of iKON beside Jay (the glitter clothes in But You). iKON But You being another genre of music because iKON is used to experimenting with other genres of music. They are not afraid to try other style than what people are used to them.. if u are a regular their b side tracks’ genres are unpredictable. Bobby is the purple hair. He is the dopest rapper for me, he is more swag than the word swag itself lol. Juné is the raspy voiced guy u will be in awe with his vocals fr. If u want to try reacting to their profile u can try “Seven Pride of iKONICS!” It’s a long video but worth watching.. or u can also try the iKON Killing Verse for their wild raw live vocals.
