MY FIRST HOUR ON HOYOVERSE'S NEW GAME (Honkai: Star Rail)

Hey there!
I'm so excited to play this game, and the way it's similar as far as universe goes, with references to the other Hoyoverse games like Honkai Impact or Genshin of course, but it's still different? had an amazing time either way, and definitely hope you will too!
writing this on the new pc huhuhu (also the description i wrote earlier very NICELY is suddenly deleted so.. i guess i'm rewriting it? but worse? love it here)
eeeeeither way, it's super refreshing to play a different game like this, and I really hope it becomes a series once it does finally come out around the end of april! I also have enjoyed Honkai Impact lately sooo.. maybe we can get that whole story done before Star Rail comes out? i'm thinking one starter episode here and depending on how it does we move it to the 2nd channel? (RednasYunk!)

@@karanara69 Going by one new nation per year and us getting Fontaine in just a few months, this leaves Natlan for 2024, Snezhnaya for 2025 and Khaenriah for 2026. This should be the correct timeline based on past trend of one new nation per year and the Teyvat Chapter Preview
Kafka's Ult is so cool especially when she does the "Boom". I love her English voice acting as well. Conclusion: I love Kafka

Just some lore: The Astral Express, which is the game's namesake, is most likely an updated and improved version of the Cosmic Juggernaut, another train from Honkai Impact 3rd. It is the second Divine Key, one of the 12 Divine keys each having the ability to manipulate a concept. And Cosmic Juggernaut, or the Astral Express in this case, has the ability to manipulate space, basically allowing you to teleport and travel through different universes.

but thats all wrong speculation- the Astral Express is likely older than the Cosmic Juggernaut, it was created by the Aeon of Trailblaze for them and the nameless to travel finding the end of the Tree of Existence, they fell and the Nameless travel with it until it somehow fell down Himeko's homeworld Edit: came here after the game's out to say that you were so fucking wrong delete the comment this instant to avoid misinfos

I think the best feature to ever have than Genshin is having their mouth sync with the voice lines.

@@joomin I agree. I deduced that maybe it will take a lot of work for them to rewire the mouth sync for the English voice lines. Maybe hoyoverse did not anticipate at first that they will have large English audience for Genshin. That’s why at the beginning of Honkao Star Rail, they already made that clear to mouth sync with English voice lines for the majority of English players.

they usually announce it from their official accounts, you just fill it out a from and they reach out to you if you get picked. this is the final beta though, so after this one ends the game will be released officially.
would love to see a continuation of this series (it passed by so fast i didn't even realise it was more than an hour long lmao). as always, your content is incredibly wholesome and enjoyable rednas

The animations in this game is amazing! I’m looking forward to its release on April 28th, which is actually March 7th on the Lunar Calendar, so it’s very intentional!

Fun fact! You can actually choose to stay behind at Herta's space station! Granted, it just loops you back to make the choice to go on the Astral Express, but it's still cool that you have the ability to choose in the first place!

I really hope this does become a series!! This game seems pretty interesting and the characters are pretty nice too and it feels different than genshin with its more turn based battle system :D also you seem to be having fun, so I'd love to see more of this

Having a chance to try the final closed beta is such an amazing experience for me also. I love this game, and it is remind me of Sword Art Online and Persona 4. The male main character look almost the same as Yu Narukami from P4. Love the story line, the graphics and the music. Can't wait for Kafka banner hehehe.. anyway great video !
I really like the intro/prologue so I'm happy they keep it! And added more details ofc but here's hoping the whole prologue stay until release!
I was a little sceptical at first, bc I‘m usually someone who prefers sticking to things I already know, but I happened to be kinda tired and your videos are some of my favourites to play during naps and this one was nice n long, so I was like Why not and honestly, I rlly enjoyed it! I personally would love to see some more Honkai content, even though I haven‘t played it and probably won’t in the near future, bc I don’t have too much free time, but now I’m kinda interested in the story :D
Tbh can't wait to play this myself (if my storage allows me to). Seeing Kafka "fake violining" to this beautiful rendition of Pachelbel's Canon in d major while under attack as the opening cutscene is such a mood! Absolute perfection

((also i feel like one of the few people out there who actually likes turn-based RPGs so that’s another reason i would def watch a series lol))
