I am working on my first Epi Casino. I am going to buy the overseas first. Then the American. For special tunings for the American. Down tune to D . Overseas standard. The reason I am buying two is i never bought myself a new Guitar . I always wanted an Epi or a white Falcon. Will not go overseas on the white falcon. I will drop the price for a Gretsch I love the White Falcon. Now I have 8 guitars all junkers. Except my Takamine. I love that acoustic. OH by the way I love all my junkers. I love my 1981 Tele Bullet I got finely set just tap with your fingering hand. I got very hot pickups.

My number one guitar...love the Casino...songwriters guitar ...light as a feather...great even unplugged....I also have the Inspired by Gibson Epiphone ES 335 and between those two I can cover a lot of ground but the Casino fits me like a glove..love P90s..clean up at 7 and get real gritty at 10..they are like pickups with a built in booster pedal.

Let us face facts . Well at least it is my humble opinion . Aesthetically the best looking Guitars ever made . The Gibson ES 335 and the Epiphone Casino ! Great technique and sensitivity to tone you got there son.

@@LVSWorks_TV Tried some Stringjoy .10's. Balanced nickel plated (instead of usual pure nickel round core) and she really likes 'em. Pretty sure these are the going to be the right match for me. Anyway...your playing and your Casino sound great! 👍😎 Enjoy👍😎 👍😎❤🖖

@@LVSWorks_TV No meaning to offend anyone, these are great guitars for the money, but Gibson made Epiphone into a cheap alternative, using cheaper wood. This means when you play the original Casino vs. the Chinese version toe to toe, you hear a big difference. That is due to the fact that the wood "ages", but also the use of the type of wood in current Epiphone semi hollow's. The only brand that gives detailed information about their tonewoods in this price range is Ibanez. They use a combination of Okoume and Maple in their semi hollow's. With Epiphone it's probably the same, but they don't specifiy it, like they don't specify the "mahagony", they use in their LP Range. They probably use luan or meranti, which has different tonal properties.
