Bofur so smart man, first game on the new mode and he's already figured out what is likely one of the best ways to play as a team. One guy as poison/scam comp who mostly keeps their board the same and feeds units to the other guy, who's playing some sort of big stat apm comp

@@MerlynMusicman Its one of the weirdest words in english to Kripps defense, its pronounced base but written it suggests the b-ass pronounciation as any other word with "ass" in it is pronounced like that. But since its a festival of legends card and it clearly refers to the musical term, the correct pronounciation is indeed "basegill".

@@Danny_Matson Yeah but then both parts of its name refered to a fish and nothing to music as you already have the "gill" for the fish reference. Its a wordplay but since its from festival of legends and holding and playing a double bass it refers to the musical term.

Seems fun if you have a friend to play with. Otherwise I’m not depending on and coordinating with some rando. Like what’s the incentive to play this over regular BG if you’re solo.

Thats what i thought. Im happy for those who like to play duos but at the same time I don’t imagine this will be played anywhere near regular BG, and may even have a really low playerbase. Would prefer the resources be put into something else but nevermind!

Yeah... I'm thinking the same. This looks super fun but only if you can talk to your partner. Otherwise it seems very hard to play. Now I'm sad that all my friends who used to play HS abandoned the game over the years and won't come back for this 😢

Such a fantastic feature for BGs probably one of the biggest updates i've seen. I always like to duo with a friend of mine, now its nice to not kill him in our games anymore.

There's a pinging system where you can flag a card with an icon, but they're just ✓, X, ? and a portal icon. Not much to work with.

The games seemed closer to the normal match length, plus 15 damage cap seems to last way longer, even after a team dies.

In the blogpost it says you can send minions in your hand, so I would guess that once you play a card you can't send it.

Normally, you can’t do this, but there is a hero whose hero power allows them to pass a non-golden minion from the board. If I remember correctly, there is also a Naga that has a spell craft with the same ability as the hero power.

@@sigmundbartosch3542 actually played together in lobbies for more than 1.5 year, but as some point got bored of it and just moved in life with other things I guess :))) anyway, the fact that you can play together now, kinda co op, make it more attractive, at least for us :))) so can't wait to try it when it comes out!

Double dmg means fast games. It means also that late game builds will be non existent in this mode, boring
