Hi Leo, selamat datang/welcome to Malaysia. There are some Japanese KZreadrs that are currently in Malaysia that you can actually keep in touch with them. They are Kouji Jepun, KAZ In KL, and WASABI LAKSA. Kouji Jepun just arrived in Malaysia and he knows Bahasa Melayu while the other two are quite familiar with Malaysian food and culture. Hello Leo san. Welcome to Malaysia. Just to share my experience with a Japanese friend when I was working at NHK World Tokyo for 4 years in 1999-2003. While I was there, My Japanese friend/ radio producer went to Malaysia for 6 months to study Malay Language. He stayed with my friend at KL. Everyday he speaks English. Within 6 months he can speak Malay. He was a radio producer and he was attached at Radio TV Malaysia. Coming back to Japan he was working as my producer as I was a A Malay Language specialist there. And his Malay improved as we work together because we speak Malay most of the time. I learned Nihon go from him and from other Japanese firiends too. But my Nihon go was not too good since we speak Malay and English most of the time. Moral of the story, speak the language and you will be good or even master the language. Stay safe.

@@jpn_leo I'm pleased to hear from you, Leo. What a coincidence. I supposed to fly to Narita yesterday. However, my flight has been revised since I was called up for a Jeddah flight 6 days ago. Therefore, we were entitled for a mandatory 4 days off after coming back from Saudi. Anyhow, I work as a cabin crew and Japan is one of my favourite countries to fly. Have a great weekend😊

7:32 Yes, a lot of tourist did not know that KLIA is not located in Kuala Lumpur. It's just a name... It's located in Sepang in state of Selangor. Maybe like 2 hours driving to Kuala Lumpur city.

FOOD! We are food lovers and just crazy abt it. Multi-ethnic and multi-cultural mean food galore. Hence, Malaysia is a food haven. Word of caution though: do watch the weight. I can guarantee you that you will not weigh the same as when you left Japan. hahaha...Have fun and do mingle with locals...it will enrich your experience further. Take care and stay safe.

Nasi lemak is Malaysia's signature dish u must try. Mamak (Indian Muslim restaurant) is the place where Malaysian people always love to hang out, and u should try roti canai there at late night. that's 1 of the culture here in Malaysia. i suggest u get to know Japanese (Ichang RM) couple who love Malaysia so much and lives in Hong Kong now. May u have great time and get to know Malaysia people and culture

welcome to malaysia, malaysian people are very nice and helpful eventhough you're a stranger to them🥰, just to remind that malaysian also have flaws and nothing is perfect here, just enjoy and take positive things, have a nice day and enjoy your stay here☺️

If there is one place to go, u have to go to Terengganu it's rustic, serene, culturally authentic, beautiful, clean, fresh cheap seafood/great food, beaches for miles and miles. March to October is the time to go to its heavenly islands like Redang, Perhentian, Kapas b4 they're close for monsoon season. Enjoy and stay safe.!
