My first BRM 1/24 Slot Car has arrived and it is nice!

Hello everyone,
Taking a break from the Virtual Pinball Machine project which I should be done with in 1-2 weeks. Thanks for your patience. I will be back on the track more regularly once the other projects are wrapped up.
I ordered a few BRM slot cars and I am really impressed with the quality of these. They are a little pricy at ~$140 each but the quality is amazing and very well engineered.
The cool thing about some of the BRM 1/24 cars (the "Mini" series) is that they will run a 1/32 track (not an issue with Carrera since the track is 1/24).
The Mini Coopers I picked up have all aluminum chassis, wheels, front axle supports, and adjustable motor mount but that's not all...this car comes with solid brass rear axle mounts and u-joint that provides a nice camber for the rear high performance tires which allows the high performance motor to get that power to the rear wheels and help you through the turns a little faster.
I'll be putting in one of the FrankenSlot D328 decoder chips in this and then post another video of the test drive.
Be safe and have fun!
Cheers,
Jeff (Garage Maker Guy)

Hi Scott, Thanks for watching and the comment. Sorry for the late reply (I slipped on some ice a few weeks ago and I am just now getting back to the garage and my projects). The FrankenSlot chip and controllers do work with the Carrera Digital 132 and 124 scale cars. Let me know if you have any other questions/comments. Be safe and have fun! Cheers, Jeff (Garage Maker Guy)

Hi Jeff I’ve just bought the blue version of the one you have and just installed a Carrera decoder and lights The only issue I’ve had is the bulk of the chip has caused a bulge in the dash which I’m working on removing
