My First Blackout Tattoo Session

Ойын-сауық

It was time to officially erase the old tattoos that reminded me of the old me from the past, so what better way to do It than black it out!
Thanks for watching.

    Dynamic triple black is what you want for blacking out. Panthera xxx is black too but it’s more of a gray black when healed. The dynamic triple black gives a blue black tone when healed. Both of those are the best blacks in the industry. Then you have allegory after that.

    I appreciate the feedback man. The entire first pass has healed to a dark blue color, so I’m debating on going with panthera for the full 2nd pass since my other tattoos used with panthera have healed a true deep black for sure.

    @@BMSmouthers dynamic & panthera together go really well. It all depends, I’m more of a fan of the blue black tone. But the gray black you get from panthera is nice also.

    I found it ok for like the first hour, then I started to feel the burn, lol. Around the wrist area sucked pretty badly. The healing also sucks, with the tightness and burning.

    Ive literally been doin all my blackouts myself for many years now. Except my neck cuz that was tricky. This video is sick thabks for sharin. Glad im not the only one self blackouting. It has its complete own type of satisfaction that is unexplainable. People ask why. I tell em they just got to try.

    Today is day one of the healing process for me. I was almost eight hours in. I completed left forearm from wrist to elbow. I was able to stretch most of the skin simply by using the bottom of my right palm and wrist. Still, I will require some touch-up work. I started wrist first and by the time I was at the elbow I was spent. I found it to be brutal but I am pleased with my outcome.

    It's a good thing you brought the wattage up, I was cringing at first., blackout on yourself isn't an easy task, your working with one hand, and you have to bend your arm in uncomfortable ways., I did my right arm first, from wrist to 3 inches above the elbow about 18 months ago, and am almost done with my right arm, wrist to top of shoulder., use a mirror, and you will still need a hand at some point, looks good man!

    Chris here, different device, gotta fix that… anyhow, once the dynamic heals up and really settles, you can line with panthera black and it will really stand out., I haven’t done this yet, kinda like the blackout as it is., not a car guy, my truck has a hemi and I’m happy with it., subbed for support though., more tattoo content please, I’d like to see the progress!, looks good man.

    Is it using triple black instead of regular black (dynamic) any better to get black outs?

  • @BMSmouthers

    @BMSmouthers

    Honestly I’ve just head dynamic xxx black and panthera are the go to inks for black outs. But even with the one pass, it still won’t heal a true black. Mine has healed more of a dark blueish color, so I’m in need of a second pass. I think I’ll be using panthera this time around.
